- Very proud to bring you the first in a new video series "LIVE FROM OTTERHEAD STUDIOS"
I recently went back to Otterhead Studios to record a set of covers with some fantastically talented friends of mine. Here is the first in the series, our take on the KISS classic "Love Gun"
We had such a great day recording, the biggest thank you to Ellis Powell-Bevan for the opportunity and also engineering the whole session, and basically making us sound amazing and Oscar for allowing us to make such a noise in his amazing studio!
There will be five videos in the series, and each will be released 2 weeks apart Sunday mornings, so make sure you have subscribed so you can be the first to see each upload!

Honestly such an incredible studio ran by lovely people. So thankful to Oscar for having us all, and make sure a noise in his place. As you can see, it's such an amazing facility, and THE BEST live room!

@@philkasafir. yeah he's great, the whole session was fantastic, next video comes out this coming Sunday, so keep an eye out for that one 🤘 and could imagine man, I've recently had to have a minor operation on my foot myself, and has taken a while to get used to walking and putting pressure on it again. It's mad what you take for granted isn't it! All okay now, and fully on the mend, but yeah totally resonate with what your saying, take care mate!

Great cover , this and Detroit Rock City always remind me of the film Role Models ! I meant to ask what finish is on your purple Kramer ? I can only find or Orange tiger stripes 🧐
Thank you ever so much, ahh great songs, and that's a funny film! Yeah it's a cool finish, it's actually a standard Kramer pacer that the previous owner did the paintjob on. It's had a lot of modifications to it, including new pickups and a switch to split the coils etc, but yeah it's essentially purple faded into turquoise in the middle then purple again, and then the black tiger stripes painted on! I always wanted one of the orange tigers like satchel used to play, then I saw this one come up on FB marketplace and I couldn't resist, huge 80's vibes to it, fun Guitar, thanks again for watching! 🤘😎

Thank you so much for watching, yes Nicks a great player, it's actually a Czech made Spector euro 4 LT, fantastic bass, he has all sorts, but really loyal to the Spector recently (you can hear why!!) has such a chunky sound to it, hope that helps 🎸🤘

KISS is one of his favourite bands, we actually did a one off KISS tribute years ago together for Halloween, and it was the best fun ever! Great band, amazing songs 😎🤘
