What a wonderful character Her Late Majesty was. She was one hell of a horsewoman and she bred so many horses in her time. You have to bear in mind she bred racehorses, carriage horses, hunters, sports and riding horses, and also polo ponies when. His Royal Highness the Duke of Edinburgh was playing a polo at a very high level.
Sorry, can't forget There are, of course, rare breeds such as Cleveland Bays for the carriages at Buckingham Palace and her beloved Highland and Fell ponies.
Her knowledge and expertise were well known. She could name all of her horses and ponies herself and could remember the parentage of every single one. Now that is something that not everyone knew, she was very very good at remembering special people. She could impress people with her memory.
One horse that was one of her favourites was Burmese, the horse was just as cool as her Majesty when that man shot at them at the trooping of the colours.
Burmese was presented to Her Majesty in 1969 by The Royal Canadian Mounted Police, and The Queen rode her in Trooping the Colour for 18 years before the mare retired in 1986 to Windsor. There she enjoyed four years before passing away at the age of 28. Burmese is buried on the grounds of the Home Park private.

There are a couple out there on UA-cam. I have three favorites, the one being told by the gentleman who was out walking I believe at Balmoral with the Queen. They came across two tourists who didn't have a clue she was the Queen. I won't continue because I'd ruin it but I've given enough detail that you can find it. 2. She's cutting a cake with a sword. Someone tells her that there's a knife next to the cake to use and she replies "I know but where's the fun in that!?" and 3. The behind the scenes making of her making her entrance at the Olympics with Daniel Craig (she added a little touch without telling Daniel Craig). She was invited to a couples wedding as a joke and she showed up unannounced (that would be a show stopper and the talk for a life time!!) I still can't believe she's gone...you know it's inevitably but still not prepared 😢

Her Majesty truly did shine - the whole world felt her sparkle, not just us - now it feels as though a bright light has been extinguished, the likes of which we will never see again.. With Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Phillip both gone, I feel saddened that their passing was the end of an era!
(Edit: the following is a bit of a rant - I'm a very fast typist, so it only took me 3 minutes - so please feel free to read it, or not - but I promise that I do arrive at the whole point of my reply in the last paragraph : )
For years I've said that KCIII would never be my King - much less would I ever accept his 2nd wife as QC, blah blah blah - on account of how together they destroyed a beautiful and innocent 19yo girl's life & made her miserable for all but the last of her adult years, thus literally forcing her to make some unwise decisions in looking for someone to love who also loved her, doing so as secretly as she couldù possibly be at the same as being the most famous & most photographed" ~om7- all Diana ever wanted to be there and we all know how we was to be loved for herself, and not for who she was - and I don't believe that ever found it. I despise what they did to her.
However - even I have softened my heart towards Camilla, in particular, in recent years..ever since Harry & his succubus have shown themselves to be true Royal failures. First Tom Bowers' book and then Valentine Lows's book within 2 months of each other have shown that Harry has always been a selfish, self-serving, self-centred narcissist who has always been jealous of his older brother simply because he is so afraid of becoming redundant like his Uncle Andrew as he slides down the Line of Succession. He's even jealous of William's children! Most of us who've seen his wife exactly for what she is, we have blamed her solely for the Harkle Debacle - and for taking H away from Royal duties and tearing the BRF apart. But now we know that it was the spoiled brat man-child Harry who taught her that she could conduct herself like a demanding diva in the first place, treat staff who were far more qualified than herself like absolute garbage, swear at family members (oh, very classy Me-gain, and get away with all manner of such dreadful behaviour with total impunity - and the family and courtiers would all cloak her sins for them both! Me-gain simply made it far worse than Harry already was, and added her own ideas about how to market their Sussex brand. (IE - to merch millions of pounds on the side off the Royal Titles any way she can! Even off the 'children'). It's forbidden for any Royal to accept kickbacks and 'free stuff' from ANY business concern or from donors who are deemed unsuitable, or from which any conflicts of interest might arise - but Me-gain actually had abusive arguments with her appointed advisors and personal assistants with regards wanting to keep the gifts of considerable value that she was offered, even though it was thoroughly explained to her WHY it's protocol for all Royals and she could accept nothing. So that's just one indication of the type of girl Me-gain really is. And she's not any kind of team player. At least Harry knew better. She wanted the Titles, the fame, and money. Always more, more, more money. And then there was her very un-Royal behaviour - she refused to follow any protocol. Basically, she was unfit to join the BRF in the first place - NOT because she's a foreigner, & certainly not because she's biracial - but because of the way she carried on, as I've barely touched onas described here, but there were MUCH worse things she said and did during her VERY brief tenure as a 'Royal' - and their behaviour since Megxit has been absolutely abominable! Normally I would consider the personal lives of individual Royals to be none of our business - BUT ...THEY MADE IT OUR BUSINESS by giving interviews publicly, whingeing incessantly and telling great big proven porky pies and blaming her own massive failures on 'systemic racism' - and blaming everyone but herself for everything SHE did wrong herself! She refused to listed to her appointed expert advisors & then she even tried to blame them! And racism. She thought everything should be about all about her - that she would be centre of attraction, and she & Harry should be equal in status ê~['4 about the Duck and Duckarse of Montecito - and please, don't come back!
      But by comparison
