@@stevemyopinion423 Pacey didn't threaten to "leave the state" if she picked Dawson. He decided he respected himself enough to make the best of his summer with or without her. That is a normal, healthy, MATURE thing to do. Despite what TV tries to tell you, sacrificing your emotional well-being for another person isn't romantic. By painting "ask me to stay" on the wall, he was leaving the ball in her court. He was giving her - GASP! - choice. When she told him she couldn't give him a reason to stay, he didn't try to crash his boat into anyone or withhold his friendship from her. He said goodbye and he left - something he had EVERY RIGHT TO DO. Again - healthy. Mature. You know what isn't healthy or mature? You. Like, not even a little bit. Dawson became toxic since the day he lost control on Joey right ? He was before, but he his toxic side became worse when he loose control of Joey, when he found that Joey can act and think and choose her own path without him
I despise Dawson with a passion. He is the most conceited, arrogant character, incredibly dangerous. The boat race showed how Pacey was always the mature one.
Dawson was so annoying when she started dating Pacey. She was in love with him for years they date for a short time and break up then when Pacey starts liking her he gets all pissy. Joey and Dawson weren't right for each other I loved her relationship with Pacey much better.
This was really good at foreshadowing Dawson's death at sea when he decided to be a professional fisherman/crabber and Pacey' death at the hands of Joey's sister.
dawson rlly thought he had a point abt joey being his "bc of their history" its history for a reason dawson, she wants to leave u in the past. And plus in those 15 years it's been dawson taking his claim on her, making her his property. While pacey is allowing joey to love him with her own free will. DAWSON IS FORCING JOEY TO BE WITH HIM TO KEEP HIM IN HER LIFE WHILST PACEY IS ACTUALLY CONSIDERING HER FEELINGS AND RESPECTING HER CHOICE. pacey is considering joey in this decision.
I really enjoyed these comments like this series was a real-life story. In fact why Pacey and Jen had a short-lived love relationship that seemed to be a good chemistry and all of the sudden it disappeared for good and consequently came Joey and Pacey, only Gina Fattore can give you guys the answer. But Dawson's character was clear that he took Joey for granted, a sure thing. Dawson will fight to have Joey only when he felt there was a competition like with Pacey or even Jack when she and Jack went to an art gallery and they found out that they had the same interest in arts. And when they walked out of the gallery they met Dawson and that made Dawson a little irritated.
I fail to understand why everyone thinks ill of Dawson. Dawson was a good man. If anything, the problem was Joey. And now that I'm older, I see that he didn't deserve Joey, meaning he deserved better. I'm glad they never got together. Thinking back on it, Joey and Pacy were perfect for each other coming from the same uprbringings. Takes the term "dating on you're level" to a new level. Glad Pacey and Joey have each other at the end. Dawson was better off anyway his life wound up better that their's with his career and job, showing the his fruits and high favor. Hopefully, Dawson found someone like him, a nice girl with some sense.
What seems strange Is all thia season Joey mostly speaks with pacey or Dawson..I mean, in the entire show she hasn't a best female friend, She doesn't look for a best friend and It seems in her all childhood her only friend was Dawson. Very lonely and strange for a teenager
After deep thought I think Joey is actually quite the film noir temptress. This never would have happened if Joey wouldn't have been so weird and awkward. "Oh..I'm 15 I have to find myself" Lame. She finally got what she wanted (dawson) then did everything in her power to mess him up. THEN! She leads Pacey on and does everything to drive him crazy. I don't blame Pacey or Dawson for their actions. If they were smart they would've told Joey to take a hike. Joey needed therapy and a psychiatrist lol
I am rewatching the whole show, I'm ending Season 4. Particularly here, yes, Dawson was SO WRONG AND SUCH A BRAT! Pacey was right, he was the better man...but into Season 4 he became an incredibly insecure person and always picked a fight with Joey about it, he brought up Dawson way too much and, to be honest, he was never himself, he tried to be what he thought Joey wanted him to be, it was not sustainable. Even though they had a pretty romantic relationship, realistically, that relationship wouldn't have worked. Yes, they end up together in the finale but I don't think it would be sustainable either.

@@RaymondStarkes And exactly what was the point of asking for such uploads?
How could anyone have shipped joey with dawson. The way they talk about her is night and day. Pacey clearly is always looking out for her, her wants and needs, her own best interest. Dawson cares about Dawson.
Pacey always the underdog and Dawson always thought he was better than pacey even telling him so, but the relationship he had with joey was timeless like when he visited with her joeys Dad , pacey brought the best too out of joey, It was an amazing show this 3 way triangle loved Jen and rest of the cast too it’s a timeless classic.
Pacey brought the worst of.of.joey.
2:36 - thank you! their "history" is two scared kids finding comfort by holding on to each other , escaping by watching movies
if the only or main thing a couple has is "history" - then that is a lame relationship
that not joey and dawson history there a million talk, and 15 years of beign best friend, pacey is wrong
all pacey and joey have is a few months of being freinds and he just afraid she going to pick dawson
Their history started before watching movies together. Part of their history was how Dawson was there for Joey when her mom died, when she broke her arm, etc. Watching movies is just one part of their history.
@@TheGuyNobodyReallyLikes yeah, dawson was also there when he reported Joey's dad to the cops and making her do it after, dawson was also there when he treated Joey like trash in his party so take conclusion for yourself...
@@CassWY Dawson did nothing wrong by pointing out at his birthday party what Joey was doing to him. Joey wanted Dawson for so long, that when she finally has him, she breaks up with him to find herself. Dawson also did nothing wrong by making Joey turn her dad over to the police. He did it to save Joey. And that is something that both Joey and her dad pointed out. Just what kind of a nut are you?
@@TheGuyNobodyReallyLikes Dawson was a d*ck at his party. No one that he yelled at deserved the public ridicule that Dawson gave them. If he had a problem he should have talked to them in private not yell out his issues to the world. Kinda like when you complain how Pacey yelled at Joey at Prom. Neither are excusable.
Pacey all the way
Dawson is like an obsessive pencil
Dawson im not getting out of his way , we call tht Beta Rage 😂😂😂😂
This show was never about Dawson.
It was always about Joey and it was always better for it.
Pacey and Joey made the most sense out of any couple on this show.
Technically you're right. Joey was in every single episode.
I understand Joey going off on both of them, but she’s right no person is worth all of this !! Making her go crazy !!
Well what did she think was going to happen when she was getting in between 2 best friends? Lol
@@Bella-Mae0422 if anything, she's responsible for their friendship being destroyed. So it's all HER fault.
Dawson…so horrible in this scene. Pacey says “you nearly killed me!!” And his response is…”I got disqualified??” Awful.
There are a lot of snakes nowadays who destroy a friendship for a girl. I know something about that...
Fun fact: Charlie Hunnam auditioned for the role of Dawson.
Dawson is such a pig and Joey is so pathetic for putting him first and letting Pacey suffer. Pacey deserved better.
In the end of season 3 Dawson was out of character: selfish, childish, revengeful. Many people started to hate him, thanks to the producers. They killed his character
Should’ve been called Pacey’s Creek
Season 2 is titled Pacey's Pond
I don't believe Dawson was in love with Joey, he loved the idea of her, just couldn't hold on to it.
EVERY WORD OUT OF DAWSONS MOUTH MAKES ME WANNA KMS, ITS ALL SO TOXIC. just because they were best friends doesnt mean he owns her, processes her, automatically makes her his, the number of years does not dictate her feelings, it does not dictate whether or not dawson is a better man because if pacey can treat her right in a short amount of time and dawson "had her for 15 years" and still can't keep her is saying something. Because in those 15 years i don't think dawson has ever considered joey's feelings, joey's needs, joey's choice
all dawson ever did was consider joey feelings.
Joshua Jackson 100%
Pacey didn't need to try hard to fight for joey unlike dawson
So why did he always cry about Joey never loving him, or if she did, then it wasn't completely?
@@TheGuyNobodyReallyLikes Pacey loves Joey. But he also wants what's best for her. Pacey was never going to force Joey to be with him or make her feel guilty for not choosing him. That's the difference between him and Dawson. Dawson always wanted Joey to himself (so he fought Joey more) but Pacey was always going to go along with whatever Joey decided for herself (but of course he wanted her to choose him). If you don't get how Pacey is the mature one then I'm sure you're not quite old enough to understand what a healthy relationship looks like.
wrong, pacey made it clear he leaveing the state if she pick dawson
and was a jealous asshole anytime she spend time with dawson after they start to date,
dawson never once got jealous after the start of season 4, i mean season 5 dawson and joey were getting close, and dawson never once got jealous. pacey was still jealous season 6.
@@stevemyopinion423 U must be team dawson
These clips are posted so that people can watch them and, you know, enjoy themselves. Pull your real head out of Dawson's reel ass.
Can we all agree Dawson is the worst and Pacey is the hero we deserved, he's a sweetheart
neither of them won. Cruise did..
nah i think he lost too
Ngl watching this back Dawson & Pacey should’ve both dropped Joey. 😂
The boat race showed how Pacey was always the mature one.
crazy this show ended 20 yrs ago
Dawson was so annoying when she started dating Pacey. She was in love with him for years they date for a short time and break up then when Pacey starts liking her he gets all pissy. Joey and Dawson weren't right for each other I loved her relationship with Pacey much better.
I'm not sure what Pacey means when he says he won't beat Dawson, he'll beat her if he wins in the race.
Coz dawson is being sponsored by Joey's family B&B
This was really good at foreshadowing Dawson's death at sea when he decided to be a professional fisherman/crabber and Pacey' death at the hands of Joey's sister.
That never happened
People aren't usually this honest.
My favorite. Was. Joey. I always loved when she tucked her hair behind her ears.
she is just so charming ^^
@@LeslieLili she was. Still is Beutiful
I can’t believe she used to think she was unattractive, she’s always been a cutie.
dawson rlly thought he had a point abt joey being his "bc of their history" its history for a reason dawson, she wants to leave u in the past.
So this is how good friends become enemies
Dawson's Creek it’s a beautiful show from Fox Tristar Television.
I hated Joey. Whenever she could have Dawson shed get with someone else like jack and pacey! Dawson and pacey should of told joey to get lost.
What it the title of the song playing in the background?
S1 was the best season season 2 was ok and 3 and 4 it was like the three of them in this love triangle
Tom Cruise wins the race.
"I choose Tom..."
Why did Katie Holmes always shake her head when she talked? She's pretty but she acted horribly
Hopefully, Dawson found someone like him, a nice girl with some sense.
team Dawson, Pacey played the hero role
Dawson was always such a spoiled brat to me, a complete child 🙄
What seems strange Is all thia season Joey mostly speaks with pacey or Dawson..I mean, in the entire show she hasn't a best female friend, She doesn't look for a best friend and It seems in her all childhood her only friend was Dawson.
Very lonely and strange for a teenager
joey loving every second of causing drama
leave her alone
I don't see her enjoying it very much.
You call that a fight, no blood or KO's.
Go pacey about this stupid " soulmates moment with the tv for fifteen years " XD
even if i love season 3 thanks to pacey and Joey , Dawson screw everything !!!! Pacey and Joey should leave together far far away from him.
I agree I believe Joey and Pacey probably get together sooner if it wasn’t for Dawson in fact let him and Eve get together instead of a hookup.
I feel bad for Jen. Nobody fought over her
Lmaooo
Why do you feel bad? Who WANTS people to fight over them?
Tes but she was important in season 1
Jen had plenty of moments in the show, often fighting Joey for Dawson.
Good.
Prime Katie Holmes is worth all the trouble.
I agree joey needs therapy. But she is perfect for pacey!
Yes
just say u don’t understand her…
I'm surprised that self righteous insecure Dawson didn't say: "The object of my desire" to Joey
Which episode and season ? Please
Season 3 episode 21 - show me love
I never liked Dawson from day one. He’s a spoiled brat.
I hate Dawson so much! He is the worst main character ever
Katie leave Josh James alone stop talking to them about you brother leave then alone
Dawson is a low-key control freak. I never liked Dawson. At all.
What does this guy think this is, an old cartoon?
Team Dawson. Pacey was the worst.
and now check the real life od these people😂😂
You guys don't stand a chance....she's already been chosen for "Tom".
Name the main character of a show who was also the worst character of the show
Me: 🙁
Elena from TVD
@@85chicaloca haha fax, but Dawson still takes the edge slightly imo
@@cptayne I’ll have to take your word only because I didn’t watch DC whereas I watched TVD, at least up to S4. Hated Damion and that hatred encompassed Elena as well.
I was promised a fight. 🤨 Lame.
There's someone named Pacey? How is that even possible? You can't just add a y to any word or sound.
yes, there is someone named pacey and the name does exist. you not having any knowledge about is another issue lol
It makes the pronunciation clear. If there was no y someone would pronunce it as pace as in walking pace or pace car.
Come on Alany
He just exploited dawson
Team Pacey
I hated the way Dawson’s creek ended. 😂
Especially with these 3 🤣
Jen got some random heart disease outta nowhere. And joey broke up with her author fiance. Like bro.
Joey needs to dump these 2 tweens and go have a baby with an older man.
Dawson was too much of a "nice guy"
Pacey was a Good man.
pacey was not agood man

One Tree Hill is better
You Fools.Dawson is the only charachter who was only Trying to be the best on all way all fuckin Time.

2:34 Dawson definitely overreacted in some areas of this feud but wow, Pacey really came across as a heartless bully here.
really?! You saw that dawson almost killed him right?

Ehh I disagree. Pacey just pointed out that Dawson and Joey really didn't have a serious relationship. Dawson's response was much worse, since he's attacking Andie's mental illness.

OMG. The daughter and I have grown to hate Joey by the sixth season. They can fight all they want over her. Was so glad Pacey got her. Smart-mouth going nowhere excetera. Knew that wasn't going anywhere. They were perfect for each other early on. Halfway through the 6 season, curious How This Ends. Never saw the ending, never saw half the shows back in the day
