Remember in the series finale after they all had their little Icehouse reunion and Joey left... Pacey watched her leave till she was completely gone (unlike Dawson) and then stated how amazing she is and how the girl Dawson cast didn't hold a candle to her. I knew at that moment that if Joey ended up with Dawson then I would never rewatch another episode. He always, honestly, loved her FIRST, THE MOST, and THE BEST.

Dawson was a total villain in his own story. When Pacey and Joey end up together he makes a huge drama and breaks off the friendships... When Dawson ends up having sex with Jen and then having a relationship with her without telling anybody and they get busted, no drama. Double standards much?
Pacey is the guy every women deserves, but unfortunately there aren’t many Paceys in real life. He wasn’t awesome only with Joey, he was amazing with all the girls he dated.
He was good to them all yes. But he was most romantic with Joey. And he really friggin loved her. And their chemistry. If only there were Paceys abound in the real world.

Joshua's acting pulled me in and yanked my trachea through out the show. The characteristics of Pacey was so broad in that show, my heart felt like I've been in a marathon only cheering Pacey on.

Season 3 was a masterpiece from start to finish. The foreshadowing, the lead-up to the Pacey/Joey romance, everything was so well written and well acted and it felt so real. I love all of Dawson's Creek, but S3 is the season I keep going back to because the Pacey/Joey plot was so perfect!

I think the writer said that initially they were gonna cast the actor that played Dawson as Pacey, bc he was good looking, but then they saw he had a bit of nervousness when acting, and they liked that for Dawson, since Pacey had to be more extroverted, and confident. And the actor playing Pacey did really well when he was casted for both roles, so he ended up playing Pacey.

Yes sadly Pacey wanted to be with Joey the entire time but silly Dawson said no I don’t want you to do it Pacey kisses Joey only once in s1 because of Dawson so basically Pacey had to keep his feelings for Joey bottle up inside all the way to s3 that along time to keep the feelings going he Is and was always in love with Joey that was true Pacey did definitely have respect for Dawson that long but there is so long you can truly have feelings for someone for who knows how long.
Pacey was the best character since day 1. I really liked how he took responsibility about what happened with the teacher and helped her not to ruin her life. When he helped Andy with her mom and when was mentally unstable never acted freak out. How he waited for her to come back (I honestly thought he was going to cheat on her but surprisingly enough she cheated on him), when he stood up for Jack when the teacher was harassing him, the many times he was there for Joey and helped her and her sister with the B&B... He was the perfectly imperfect male lead.
Don't accept anything less then someone looks at you the way that pacey looks at joey (and joey looks at pacey). They make me believe in love. My immaculate OTP

I watched the show when it came out, i must have been around 10 at the time, and i remember not liking Dawson because i thought he was selfish and i thought that he was so unfair to all of his friend, more so to Joey, to always put himself first. As a 10 years old, i was able to see that. That says a whole lot about Dawson! I am re-watching the show right now, for the first time since then, and nothing has changed. Dawson is a brat and he only wants Joey when he feels like he is not the center of her universe anymore. Pacey is caring, funny, he keeps his foot down and he goes for what he wants. Plus, he is adoooorable! Who woulnd't have a crush a Pacey, seriously!

The married woman was a low low low point and he even said it was. he grows more on that show than anybody. He came from a ruff background and carried it with him for a long time. By the end, he was ready to live his life and be happy with the right choices for himself that's why he was letting go of Joey.
That was funny! Dawson really was a control freak in a sense, though a fine human being in general but when it came to Joey, he behaved like she was his possession. Joey and Pacey all the way! True love just like their boat's name.

Im rewatching this now. I forgot how good it was and yes still crush on Pacey after all these years. Now i focus more on the adult characters, but love catching things i missed with the teens on the show. I tell ya they are more well spoken and expressive than we ever were at that age.

I know this video is about Joey and Pacey but can we talk about that Dawson never deserved his Pacey’s friendship? … Pacey loved him a lot. He had a lot of problems with his family, but he considered Dawson as his brother who can support with, and unfortunately when the relationship of Pacey and Joey happened, Dawson was rude, his words were the same as Pacey’s family always said to him. I think those words affected more than his own family and of course this only increased his insecurities. Dawson never were when Pacey needed him most.

Josh Jackson acting-wise definitely stood out from the crew, even then, as a youngster. Pacey Witter is the best - played part in the series.

In the 1st season Pacey & Joey were at each others throats half the time. But there was always an underlying respect between the pair.
Yes sadly Pacey wanted to be with Joey the entire time but silly Dawson said no I don’t want you to do it Pacey kisses Joey only once in s1 because of Dawson so basically Pacey had to keep his feelings for Joey bottle up inside all the way to s3 that along time to keep the feelings going he Is and was always in love with Joey that was true Pacey did definitely have respect for Dawson that long but there is so long you can truly have feelings for someone for who knows how long.
Pacey was the best character since day 1. I really liked how he took responsibility about what happened with the teacher and helped her not to ruin her life. When he helped Andy with her mom and when was mentally unstable never acted freak out. How he waited for her to come back (I honestly thought he was going to cheat on her but surprisingly enough she cheated on him), when he stood up for Jack when the teacher was harassing him, the many times he was there for Joey and helped her and her sister with the B&B... He was the perfectly imperfect male lead.

I wish I watched this when I was younger. I think my perspective on guys would have been a lot different. Pacey shows what it truly means to be in love, which is so beautiful.
I watched the show when it came out, i must have been around 10 at the time, and i remember not liking Dawson because i thought he was selfish and i thought that he was so unfair to all of his friend, more so to Joey, to always put himself first. As a 10 years old, i was able to see that. That says a whole lot about Dawson! I am re-watching the show right now, for the first time since then, and nothing has changed. Dawson is a brat and he only wants Joey when he feels like he is not the center of her universe anymore.
Pacey is caring, funny, he keeps his foot down and he goes for what he wants. Plus, he is adoooorable! Who woulnd't have a crush a Pacey, seriously!

Dawson was horrible he slept with her even when he had a girlfriend? He treated her so badly when she had feelings for Pacey, but he flaunted his love for Jen every chance he got. His childish behaviour and jealousy shined through. I watched the gathering and even the person who played Dawson didn’t like his character.

he like jen BEFORE joey, after joey he never flaunted his love for jen.

@@az21bob666 he told Dawson repeatedly about someone coming in and swooping up Joey. She was a catch. Pacey was the guy to make all the wrong choices and learn from them and did. The married woman was a low low low point and he even said it was. he grows more on that show than anybody. He came from a ruff background and carried it with him for a long time. By the end, he was ready to live his life and be happy with the right choices for himself that's why he was letting go of Joey.

Im so glad they ended up together, I thought that since Dawson and Joey and the main guy and girl they'd end up together but NO the writers were smart.
I know this video is about Joey and Pacey but can we talk about that Dawson never deserved his Pacey’s friendship? … Pacey loved him a lot. He had a lot of problems with his family, but he considered Dawson as his brother who can support with, and unfortunately when the relationship of Pacey and Joey happened, Dawson was rude, his words were the same as Pacey’s family always said to him. I think those words affected more than his own family and of course this only increased his insecurities. Dawson never were when Pacey needed him most.
