This is very difficult i have to see the end result though...😫 i have a license in cosmetology and i had a client come in with horrible callused feet. She couldn't afford a doctor she was waking on the backs of some old shoes . the owner refused her along with the other operators i took her and worked on her for hours!!!!! I was crying.. By the time i was done the Shoes she had been walking on the back of looked three sizes too big for her feet... there was so much skin i felt ill... But i was happy i was able to help her feel better... She was elderly ... You are a very kind man......

Your social skills are 100% toe bro that is what encourages them to come back. My late husband had a bad experience with a doctor years ago and never went to to another one. He died at the age of 56 because of a heart attack that could have been prevented. So yes social skills are important!!

This lady absolutely needed to see a dermatologist. By the same token this didn't happen overnight. I think this is something that's needs to be worked on from the inside out.
Jackie Jones its called Dyshydrosis of the hands and feet. I have it. It makes little blisters in your hands and feet mostly then if they start to heal they go hard and thick callouses. I have to take steroids when it starts to flare up otherwise my hands look like her feet. It’s a genetic thing my dad and great grandpa had it.
Oh this poor lady...can’t even imagine the pain she’s been living with. Sure hope this will give her much relief. I honestly could watch this all day long and not get bored.

I'm a nail tech and have worked on feet like these before. It's amazing the relief people feel after having all of this shaved off. But because there is such a bad representation for pedicures I'm feeling very inspired to just go into podiatry. From your videos I honestly feel I can do more good with my work than I can as a nail tech because I don't get the same respect from people. Sometimes I feel like I'm a doctor after working on someone's foot. But I just don't have the medical training. Lol BTW I dabbled into nursing for awhile but never finished my degree due to having kids. Nails was my trade of choice but now I'm feeling the pull of podiatry because it's what Ive been doing for 8yrs

Oh my goodness, of course she's not alone with this condition. I have the same thing! The day I found out about the foot file was the greatest ever! I went home and spent an hour (on just one foot) scrapping off large amounts of dead skin. It felt amazing!! And then I did the other. I use my file about once a week. And TONS of lotion, it's never completely gone but it helps tremendously.

Right? Normal callus spread evenly across the feet and create a soft pad to step on, but this was almost like scales or warts, creating an uneven pattern of bubbles that bored into her feet....If would be like stepping on a bunch of rocks with every step, and always in the same spot

The fact that she also has this on her hands and that she has had this problem to a varying degree for what sounds like most of her life makes me think that the cause is systemic as in having rheumatic components and/or genetic origin
Had the SAME thing happening on the side of my hand were the thumb, and I think that started due to cutting myself while trimming my foot. My Dr. prescribe some medication to get rid of a toe infection I was having and that also cleared up my hand. I had to get a prior authorization before my insurance allowed me to get.
You are so patient and kind. When someone takes their time to actually listen to the patient and be respectful it really makes a difference. I feel for this poor woman. When your feet hurt your whole body hurts. I hope she finds relief soon. To know she is now forming calluses on her hands is so heartbreaking. If I could name this condition I would call it "Moon Feet" It doesn't really make sense that health care doesn't cover podiatrist appointments.. so many health conditions are caused by foot issues or have foot complications.. it's crazy that a poor person basically has to get to the point of amputation before treatment is free.

The pain this woman has been enduring makes me emotional, and the way you told her your story, and how your father taught you how to be so kind and comforting to your patients is wonderful. It is also quite moving to see how in tune you are with her. I could see how you tuned into this woman's energy and shifted your movements according to hers. I imagine that she'd have to be in some serious pain feeling like you're walking on rocks all the time. One thing I don't understand is why the health insurance doesn't cover seeing a foot specialist. That just seems so crazy especially considering some of the cases we've seen him treat and our feet are a very vital part of our bodies.

All my life she took very good care of her and her kids feet because she would say “You only get 1 pair of feet to stand on, so you need to take care of them.” I wish this woman could have feet as pretty as my mom did. She too would sport pretty open toed strappy sandals. My mom got me into wearing Earth Shoe sandals. Oh, they are so comfortable. When she passed I took all her Earth Shoe sandals. My feet thank me every time I wear them. Bless you.

I’m in my final year of studying to be a Podiatrist in New Zealand. My friend had a patient come into the clinic today with this exact condition, and it took us about 40 minutes to do a foot each 😲 it was so satisfying though, and despite having sore wrists there’s nothing better than having the patient walk out feeling good!!

I'm a nail tech and have worked on feet like these before. It's amazing the relief people feel after having all of this shaved off. But because there is such a bad representation for pedicures I'm feeling very inspired to just go into podiatry. From your videos I honestly feel I can do more good with my work than I can as a nail tech because I don't get the same respect from people. Sometimes I feel like I'm a doctor after working on someone's foot. But I just don't have the medical training. Lol BTW I dabbled into nursing for awhile but never finished my degree due to having kids. Nails was my trade of choice but now I'm feeling the pull of podiatry because it's what Ive been doing for 8yrs

Oh my goodness, of course she's not alone with this condition. I have the same thing! The day I found out about the foot file was the greatest ever! I went home and spent an hour (on just one foot) scrapping off large amounts of dead skin. It felt amazing!! And then I did the other. I use my file about once a week. And TONS of lotion, it's never completely gone but it helps tremendously.
All womyn are the opposite of gemstones/crystals etc and other special names, so the misused name Cristal / Crystal must be edited out and changed, as all name/term misuse is soon to be banned -- I am the only Cristal / Crystal in existence and all other gemstone names and special names and flower names etc that only reflect me, myself being the true Leader!

Right? Normal callus spread evenly across the feet and create a soft pad to step on, but this was almost like scales or warts, creating an uneven pattern of bubbles that bored into her feet....If would be like stepping on a bunch of rocks with every step, and always in the same spot

The fact that she also has this on her hands and that she has had this problem to a varying degree for what sounds like most of her life makes me think that the cause is systemic as in having rheumatic components and/or genetic origin

Had the SAME thing happening on the side of my hand were the thumb, and I think that started due to cutting myself while trimming my foot. My Dr. prescribe some medication to get rid of a toe infection I was having and that also cleared up my hand. I had to get a prior authorization before my insurance allowed me to get.
You are so patient and kind. When someone takes their time to actually listen to the patient and be respectful it really makes a difference. I feel for this poor woman. When your feet hurt your whole body hurts. I hope she finds relief soon. To know she is now forming calluses on her hands is so heartbreaking. It doesn't really make sense that health care doesn't cover podiatrist appointments.. so many health conditions are caused by foot issues or have foot complications.. it's crazy that a poor person basically has to get to the point of amputation before treatment is free.

This is one of the most amazing videos I have seen in the entire medical genre on UA-cam for many different reasons. The pain this woman has been enduring makes me emotional, and the way you told her your story, and how your father taught you how to be so kind and comforting to your patients is wonderful. It is also quite moving to see how in tune you are with her. I could see how you tuned into this woman's energy and shifted your movements according to hers. You care about the human beings you are helping and it shows.

I imagine that she'd have to be in some serious pain feeling like you're walking on rocks all the time. One thing I don't understand is why the health insurance doesn't cover seeing a foot specialist. That just seems so crazy especially considering some of the cases we've seen him treat and our feet are a very vital part of our bodies.

You are amazing! That poor woman, what pain this must cause her. My mom had the prettiest feet that I have ever seen. She would go to great lengths to care for them too. All my life she took very good care of her and her kids feet because she would say “You only get 1 pair of feet to stand on, so you need to take care of them.” I wish this woman could have feet as pretty as my mom did. She too would sport pretty open toed strappy sandals. My mom got me into wearing Earth Shoe sandals. Oh, they are so comfortable. When she passed I took all her Earth Shoe sandals. My feet thank me every time I wear them. Bless you.

I’m in my final year of studying to be a Podiatrist in New Zealand. My friend had a patient come into the clinic today with this exact condition, and it took us about 40 minutes to do a foot each 😲 it was so satisfying though, and despite having sore wrists there’s nothing better than having the patient walk out feeling good!!
