I had a Jupiter Red Mrk 4 (1979) 2.3 Ghia, with a manual box back in the day...Black interior with RS2000 4 spokes...The owner before me had put in Mrk 3 Capri twin headlights, which made the old gal look mean. I also bought a Mrk 4 2 ltr Ghia estate which used to be a funeral car for a local business...It was spotless...The 2.3 Ghia is the only car I miss.. :)
@@Rustyoldsheet these old gals tended to suffer from rust around the indicator lenses on the front wings, and on the rear lower quarter panels..The V6 engines were bullet proof though...Good old days... :)
Wow ages since I've seen one of these, proper 70s style with that roof and all
Something special about the Taunus
Thank you. It has character for sure.
Sounds sweet 👍
Thank you Chris.

@@jumblesaleboo this was originally Jupiter red when new. It’s been hand painted a slightly different red .

@ this Taunus is surprisingly solid around the wings, inner wings etc.
@@jumblesaleboo The Pinto is really tough as well.
