Testament rocks, Exodus rocks, Megadeth rocks, Metallica rocks, Overkill rocks, Anthrax rocks, Slayer rocks.
You who likes to compare band A to band B SUCK!!!
And Angelus Apatrida fucking rocks too, if you don't know them, pure thrash metal from my country (Spain) check them out!
+Luciano Roberto Yeah man!!! It would be great if more fans of the genre shared that simple sentiment.
I will, because as of right now, i don't know any good metal bands from Spain. nor France. Funny thing is there is a death metal band from Iran of all places called Armames. no metal bands from N. Korea though !
We have quite a lot good bands in Spain but I think this one I said is the closest to Testament you can find ;)
Sirmanux
Just heard them, listened to "End Man" they kick ass for sure. I love good well executed
thrash metal, don't matter where the band is from. Check out Ultra Violence from Italy, Dust Bolt from Germany, and Chonosphere from Greece, all kick ass thrash like this
Is it just me or does this band get BETTER with age? This song is killer.
I agree
It does lol
Tis true
A new song by Metallica and Testament on the same day. Fucking beast!
Did they release new songs today?
The thing is is I've already heard those. Metallica and Testament released new songs today, that's why I commented this. They were fresh songs, and I personally enjoyed them so to me, they were great, or at least good.
The new Testament album is out though.
I'd say Exodus and Kreator over Overkill but I hear you. There needs to be a thrash-fest of some sort. With all these new(ish) thrash bands like Warbringer, Lich King, Skeletonwitch etc... plus with the greats including Testament, Overkill, Kreator, Slayer, Megadeth, Sodom, D.R.I etc... it could be a huge event. If Metallica (love em or hate em) headlined the whole festival you have a guaranteed grand slam.
***** I personally live with a self imposed delusion. Metallica lasted from Kill 'Em All to (and including) the "black album". Then Metallica retired and they formed a new band called "Alternica" since Load/Re-Load sounded like heavy alternative music opposed to "metallic". St. Anger is another topic. Bur I feel with Death Magnetic they got the vibe back. With the exception of the god awful Lulu - everything they have been putting out since DM has been great. I even saw them on the DM tour and James sounded great. Lamb of God opened for them too. Super great night.
80's bands still reigning supreme in the metal genre 30+ years later. Young bloods take notice.
Bruce LeRoy I love old school metal. Now everything is growling and screaming and everything I hear is noise and most of the time I dont understand what thay are singing. It's like. "wooooowowowowowowkakakakakaka waaaaaaahhhhhh uuuuuuuuoooooooo jdhejsnx cbrjeixjcnrnssnkxifkrnemxjsne
wuuuuooooooooaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhh
Angeluss Blade I'm with you man. I love rock and metal, but Black, Death, and all these core genres with the growling and screaming I just don't like. Nu metal too is not for me.
GamamJ Death takes time to get used to. I used to hate it but I like a lot of it nowadays. Black metal I hate though.
Newer bands don't know how to write a good song
Ignorant comment. Go listen to gray matter mechanics by allegeon and tell me "young bloods" can't write a good song
Testament never disappoint
Smeagol316 I agree. Testament has always been solid. Chucks voice sounds baddass here.
the devil cried that's a tour I'd love to see. add nuclear assault and you have the REAL BIG 4
Testament are like Overkill, the more they age the better music they make.
Osman Hadzalic like a good whiskey, it gets better with age
Slazem se majstore,i to bas za ova dva benda,a nadodo bi i Slayer... Od Bloodline do Repentless! U rangu ranih uradaka tipa Angel of Death ili Raining Blood. Ma svi, osim Metallice su i dalje prva liga, Megadeth, Anthrax, Destructin, Kreator, Exodus....
True but my favourite overkill album is still years of decay,oh and a7x is stole their logo just to be fair
Nothing beats practice what you preach tho!
Overkill dont know it Testament yes
The Best Guitar Players in Thrash Metal actualy is Alex Skolnick and Kiko Loureiro, they fucking destroy!
Brendon Carmo He is not a thrash guitar player but i love what Jon Donais is doing with Anthrax
Eric Peterson is the Thrash king, he writes all the music. Alex still rocks!
Brendon Carmo -Gay

A lot of people fail to understand is that this is Testament's Best Album to date . And to do that in 2016 after all this time is simply remarkable . Masterpiece of a Album
Is anyone going to comment on how stellar Gene Hoglan looks! It's so happy to see him dropping all the extra weight while still maintaining his badassery!
I really want to know though, what woke him up? Was it the howling of a dog or a wolf?
Mortanious perhaps a wolf 🐺
Upon further investigation it was a fuckin coyote. Go figure.
Fox
ThinTheHerd78 Hahaha! Right? I think you're onto something!
He's not sure...
The whole 'Brotherhood of the Snake' album is fantastic! Thrash all the way! \m/
🙋🙋🙋
What's your take on their recent release titans of creation? I think it surpasses brotherhood of the snake
@@THRASHDEATH1995 Yes, I think it does. It's definitely more catchy.
@@THRASHDEATH1995 brotherhood of snake is shit compared to Titans of creations.BOS is one of the worst testament albums
@@megaduck5398 Agreed. I found Brotherhood of the Snake to be a bore of an album. I found it hard to make it past 6 songs
The Guitar work is absolutely intricate! The Drums? Bangin'! The Bass Guitar? Thumpin'! And the Vocals? Outta this world!
These guys deserve to be up there with Metallica, Slayer, Iron Maiden, Exodus, Megadeth, Anthrax Motorhead, Thin Lizzy, ete top tier from the off🤘💀🤘
They are actually better than them all in my earnest opinion. Well maybe not better than Lizzy
Chuck ! The best and very sympatic guy
im a fan and Alex is a very good musician with many talents.
Gene Hoglan does one of the best metal drumming for 20 years and while playing he looks like he's watching TV in sofa and relaxing + he is immune to time.
"Big daddy" Gene Hoglan is a beast. Been following him since Dark Angel "Darkness Descends"
Great album, song. One of best albums of the year.
"The Pale King"
I was awakened by the howling of the dog
Or perhaps a wolf
Summoned by the voices who are shouting in my ear
The pale king comes from afar
Before the time, who will decide
I've lived to see one thousand moons
I am weak, I am ill
I am old with a taste for the kill
All that I've seen in the years that I possess
The faces I don't recognize
Summoning the ancients with the evil that awaits
Reading from the book of the dead
Zone of the Gods, below the sea
I've traveled amongst the stars
I am life, I am Death
I control the gates of this world
The pale kings reign, condemns this world
Their doing time till the end of there lives
Falling, traveling through out this world
Falling, fallen from the skies
Taken from the prophecy as they control your mind
The pale kings hold your fate
One hundred thousand years and counting
One hundred thousand million more to go
Throughout his life he keeps on searching
The pale king makes this world his own
And the seals of these are written herein
Yet others I must take with me
The spirit of Daemon no longer known
Anu have mercy on my soul
Mistake on line 24, should be "one hundred million more to go", not "one hundred thousand million more to go" .
Tabs, thanks for the lyrics. ,--- (0:07).
I fuckin died when he said "ONE HUNDRED MILLLION MMOORE TO GOOO"
wow!! that song has so many different feels to it
2:44 lmao... looks like they filmed Chuck jumping on a trampoline in slo-mo. and now i cant get that visual out of my head. hilarious!
Hahahahahaha
LMAO :D
I lost it at 3:30 when the alien drops chuck haha
and now I can't either lol
Hahaha fuck you!
I was awakened by the Howling of a dog or Perhaps a Wolf!...\m/ most metal line ever written! \m/
It's a line from the necronomicon, so not written by him but he used the line well!
GREAT! Current Favorite Album... Loved Testament since back in the day.
One of the albums of this year !
Chirodip Basu Do you mean that as in one of the albums that came out this year?
+Jarosław Lipiński He means best if the bunch
Jarosław Lipiński Yeah man, I was so into the track, i didnt see what i was typing :P
***** Thanks for backing me up ;)
Chirodip Basu I was just kidding around :P
I just got the album yesterday, it's pretty fucking good :D
Its crazy this band help me through my teens and now I am 42 and its helping me through the end of my days
Testament makes it easy!! Great album. I'm waiting for Metallica's Atlas, Rise to be released soon and be able to listen to it. Only 3 hours left. By the way, I just wanna point out Alex Skolnick's amazing talent!
They are going to realease the whole song in 3 hours? :O
Most songs were written by Eric "The Riff Master". Alex just plays along
Atlas rise was very underwhelming. I came right back to this song afterward.
I liked Atlas, Rise! too. Very good one, it's more likely to Moth Into Flame than to Hardwired. 2 middle tempo songs with one classy thrash song. Well, only 1/4 of the album out, still many songs await to be listened.
GenoyZombiePiss you're response is just as bad, it's just silly
If only Metallica could keep rocking hard like this. Hardwired has some good riffs but it's so boring. Testament, Overkill, Anthrax and more prove you can evolve and keep rocking just as hard as ever.
Fantastic album and amazing track, one of the best thrash albums of the year. Now I'm waiting fot the new Metallica single to be released
The Big Four: Testament, Megadeth, Anthrax, Metallica
Nope, Is: Testament, Exodus, Slayer and Megadeth
Testament, Exodus , overkill and Slayer
Slayer,Testament,Anthrax, Megadeth
Metallica, Megadeth, Slayer e Testament.
My big "four" is Anthrax, Metallica, Slayer, Testament and Exodus.
this is TOUGH!!!!
This is the second song I have heard by these guys. I will be listening to more!
Slayer, Lamb of God, Testament, Anthrax and Napalm in August. It's going to be a legendary tale for the grandchildren to hear!
I am soooo going in just a few hours at Bangor Maine.
What a Bass sound! Testament rules!
Great song, but that video is cheesy as hell.
Gene Hoglan and Steve DiGiorio - what a rock. since they accompanied Chuck for Human and forward the best metal heads ever!!!
Actually DiGiorgio is the one who played in Human , Gene got in on Individual Thought Patterns , but yes you are right both of them played with Chuck at one point .
Gene and Steve both played in Individual thought patterns. Awesome record
grruuuuuuuuuu 😚
Anyone noticed how the solo sounds like Death? I actually googled the guitarist because i thought its the guy from Individual or Symbolic...
well Chuck rests in peace. Andy works with King Diamond and Bobby Koelble is well - underrated for the talent he really has. Alex was always a lead g man in Testament and reminiscence of Death lead might be so well intentional as well as subconscious-nal
god damn. i feel like Testament and Metallica are going head to head with these releses. Test and Tallica are fucking killing it
just fantastic!
Metallica, Darkthrone, Dark Funeral, Nile, and Testament have been releasing stellar albums this year...each have their own niche and it's awesome.
The build up from 2:40 to the break down and riff at 2:48 fucking kills my neck. Impossible not to headbang!!
This band is Godly!
and the album is a true Thrash Metal masterpiece! 10/10
No cost too great.
No mind to think.
No will to break.
No voice to cry suffering.
Born of God and Void.
You shall seal the blinding light that plagues their dreams.
You are the Vessel.
You are the Hollow Knight.
Child murder solves My problems
-pale king
I love this band so much.. big influence on my guitar playing... remember the first time I saw em playing live in Greece somewhere in 99'... damn it was a great live performance...
Well Testament, Kreator, Slayer and Megadeth still play thrash metal. It's not that Hardwired is a bad record, it's just we all know that Metallica is capable of doing better. However, I like the title track and Spit Out The Bone.
Death Angel released an masterpiece this year man, you should check it out.
And Overkill still thrash too, they never dissapoint
Running wild,Vader too...
kreshBACON yes they did. the new Overkill sounds great too.
cabalofdemons I know Metallica can be better but they can't be arsed!!
Metallica's new album is trash compared to all the other big name albums that came out around the same time. Megadeth's shat all over them. This shits all over it. Metallica isn't Metallica anymore. They're HardRockTallica
I dont know, but from the old thrash metal bands, i think that testament is the one that puts out the most power full thrash , or the ones that really bring thrash in all the expression of the word, anthrax, megadeth, gojira metallica and testament, some of my favorite bands that released albums, im pretty satisfied with this year, IMO, just mine, i know many of you will disagree in metallica and gojira, am not really refering about them as thrash if you understand that, cause definitaly this two are not, and megadeth dystopia is not really a full 100% thrash, if i had to order them in the way i enjoyed them it will be
1. Brotherhood of the snake
2. Dystopia
3. Hardwired to self-destruc
4. Anthrax for all kings
5. Gojira - Magma
But well, we all differ, still am very glad that my dad and cousin introduced me to this genre 17 years ago. Next album, Kreators gods of violence lml
Give Death Angel's 2016 release a listen; "The Evil Divide," Its a killer album, so was "The Dream Calls For Blood" before that. Hell, even "Relentless Retribution" was good (imo obviously, some liked it, others didnt) But yea, Testament is on a roll here
Freddy silvas zamudio Sometimes the best way to improve thrash is not to improve it at all, I'm not saying Testament hasn't grown as a band, which they did a few albums, but they definitely know the audience compared to the ever growing fanbase of Megadeth and Metallica.
Yoiu know, it sounds like you like that era of thrash metal a lot, so do I. But thrash metal is becoming popular again in
Europe, and there have been some really great young new bands that play "old school" thrash metal. Check out
Ultra Violence,"Deflect the Flow", they are a band of young thrashers from Turin Italy, and this album kicks major ass
Dust Bolt, from germany is another thrash 9not metalcore) band. But Ultra Violence is the best album from a new thrash band I heard in years. I does not disapoint
Sounds awesome man, Definitely will check em out
To me it sounds as if Metallica is getting tired. And I heard "Atlas Rise" recently, not saying it is a shitty song, it just sounds like a rerun of of their older songs. And what happened to that once powerful guitar tone that they had or the "Black" album, what is with this wimp tone, crank that mother fucker up
I love the "New" Testament. (Not the one with all the supernatural stuff, the Band)
Gary King
That's funny tho , because the "new" TestAmenT album IS filled with all that supernatural stuff
Joe Manzella Lmoa, so true, wtf, whatever sell records, right? Myself, I don't believe in the "supernatural" , you know, Ghosts, Goblins, Witches and werewolves , Vampires and Zombies, (please with the fuckin' zombies already people) Gods and Devils. some people want to live in a world of fantasy, not me, I have a hard enough time in the real one. Lol, it's all just an evolved sense of self preservation, fear of the dark-fear of the unknown kinda thing. it's all programed responses, programed to believe and defend the unbelievable . we will grow out of it one day, or be killed by Muslims.
Really, instead of killing zombies, we need to massacre of these zombie writers. It isn't a genera, it is a trope the clowns making these movies do not even understand.
StygianTraveler141 Having no religion is more “supernatural” than having one. You think that the entire universe came from nowhere, and that the conditions here on Earth are just perfect enough that we have been able to exist and progress for all this time, without having some kind of being and higher power looking over it? Now that’s the real supernatural shit.
@@Nick-ws3vv sorry friend, but some shit in the sky making your ass is more supernatural
TESTAMENT!!!
Man that riff at 3:29 is on another level. Awesome song!
Great song and a great video! The whole album is fantastic. After Death Angel, now Testament and if Metallica deliver an album that's as good as the songs they've already released, I will have my top three metal albums of the year 2016!
Dr. Phibes in Red
Megadeth and Anthrax also released albums THIS year, albeit several months ago, but this year nonetheless. That's a way bigger deal than death angel and testament, don't you think? Lol
Games'n' Guitar : But what's the bigger deal? Bigger names, bigger budgets and bigger sales? The new Anthrax album is ok, Megadeth has always been overrated. Well. that's just my opinion. The new Death Angel and Testament albums are both way better. Again, just my opinion... :-)
I agree with your opinion, Death Angel still takes my top spot so far.
TestAmenT is my favorite band though
LOL@ Megadeth being overrated. If anything, Metallica is overrated. Megadeth have some of the most talented musicians in metal.
mrmaybe : Talking about the abilitiies of single musicians in the band you're right. But I meant the final result and that's the albums. Sorry, but Mustaine (being Megadeth) as a songwriter is overrated. At least to me. He might be a great guitar player, but there's not many songs that grab me. Maybe 3 or 4 song per album. That's not enough to be a "great" band.
The main riff remains me of some Mercyful Fate/King Diamond material. Maybe the song Uninvited Guest!
The Uninvited Guest meets The Possession.
Totally agree with you guys, shame on you Testament. Metallica copied Iron Maiden, Testament copied MF
totally agree
HOLY SHIT youre right! Even their tone sounds like Hank and Michael
What if King Diamond is the Pale King!!!???
I listen to the new Testament album and I always ask myself why they never reached the status of Slayer. Same with Exodus. Maybe that's good and keeps them working on themselves. The latest Slayer album was so uninspired. And these guys came up with a great album, last Exodus was pretty good, same with Death Angel. I mean, Slayer was there in the early days with the "bad boys" image, the satanic stuff, the chains and spikes and all that shit that never impressed me. I get that. It was kind of new and "shocking" (to some). I was a 12/13 year old kid when thrash metal started. I grew up with that music. I was listening to punk and 60s/70s rock. And when I heard these bands, I was so blown away by the power and aggression paired with melody. And even back than I prefered Testament, Exodus and the Bay Area scene and Overkill, Anthrax and Nuclear Assault from the East Coast (who had more punk influences). The European stuff. And Metallica is Metallica, of course. I still like them a lot. I always thought these bands had something special. I don't now. I'm not bashing Slayer, I like some of their stuff, but I listen to Skolnick/Peterson and Holt and I think wow, they're so good, still so good. Musically no-one comes close. Not in the thrash genre. Probably I am just an old man with a nostalgic feeling towards the old days. I don't really listen to new metal, I know there's good stuff out there, but I don't really care. These are my boys. My generation. I don't give a fuck.
There are some good, new thrash bands out there that you may be impressed with. Try Ultra Violence, Dust Bolt,
Chronophere, Gama Bomb. These are all European bands, but good old school style thrash
@rbagel55: Yes, thanks. I listened to Gamma Bomb, good music, but I don't like the vocals. Young (or younger) bands I like are Dr. Living Dead, Municipal Waste, Evile, Havoc, though the first two bands tend more to crossover/hardcore/punk/metal/whatever. But that's fine with me. If you are into Suicidal Tendencies or Nuclear Assault, I'm sure you will like them. Another old school band: Sodom. Their new album is pretty good. I was really surprised how good it is, because I was never much into Sodom. Check it out here on UA-cam.
Dr. Phibes in Red the reason why Slayer don't sound good is because their best songwriter died.
theeholygoalie : They have Gary Holt now in the band, whose ten times better than Hanneman ever was. If Kerry King would only let him write for Slayer. But a big ego and his assumption that Slayer is "his" band are standing in the way. I'm sure, if Holt would just attribute one third to the next record, it will be a great album.
Dr. Phibes in Red
there was an article on I think Blabbermouth with Kerry king saying "I'm open to letting Holt write for the next album" I bet you he was saying the exact opposite before they released repentless and got such shitty reviews.
as old as I am I still rock out to these maniacs.
Gene Hoglan is literally a god.
Doesn't matter where he is drumming, you just know it's gonna be good.
Everything that man touches is fantastic. Even the overlooked stuff like Mechanism and his Fear Factory work. Dude is one of the only drummers with a distinguishable sound.
metalkiwis Yep. you get it.
Igor Ulbrich yeah pisses all over crap ulrich!!
metalkiwis Hoglan the atomic clock!!
Ain't it great to hear these classic bands making such great music? Amazing what happens when you don't have the major label jerks forcing you to hammer out albums before you're ready. I'll enjoy this album and look for the next one in another three years...or however long it takes. It will be worth it. These guys are just amazing and sound better than ever...and the Skolnick/Peterson combo is just awe inspiring.
Cool song and not as generic thrash as most Testament material, but Metallica's songs will always be catchier and less predictable.
New Metallica is the most generic, forgettable shit I've ever heard. Amateur sounding, at best.
Ghost Dude, you worship Ghost, a trendy crap gimmick band. Therefore, you're not qualified to differentiate between good and bad metal.
Ghost might be trendy and gimmicky but they know how to write catchy songs. Whoever writes them knows his hooks. You hear it once, you won't get it out of your head. Plus their concerts look really fun. You can see the Ghouls are talented musicians.
hinjurock I've been listening to metal for 15 years. From death, power, to black. I enjoy alot of different metal bands. I think Ghost were a breath of fresh air in a sometimes stagnant genre. Great catchy songs. A real throw back sounding band. Sabbath, Mercyful Fate etc. See them live and you would be a fan.
Ghost They're pretty good musicians and songwriters, but I think that the cliched Satanic shit and costumes are cheesy as hell. If you want to hear a non-gimmick band that's a throwback to Sabbath, listen to Orchid and other stoner metal bands. Sabbath never had to resort to wearing stupid clown costumes, and they may have written some dark lyrics, but they were warning about the evils in the world, not trying to glorify them.
Needs more airguitaring with the mic stand, from Chuck Billy.Nah,I'm just joking, quality stuff from Testament.
Kicks ass!!!!
*No cost too great.*
That bass line between and guitar chord progression between 2:15 - 2:50 was amazing !

BEST!!!!
just waiting for the Metallica haters to compare them with Testament
Didnt take long, they have a combined iq of 2.
come on now there's no comparison with Metallica and Testament. Testament always kept it thrash metal and we all know about the unmighty Metallica...at this point they should have changed their name to poptallica.😂😂😂
@Tom agree with everything. Metallica suck's donkey balls.
ill listen to anydamnbody i want LOL
Metallica haters? Do you mean normal people, that are not deaf and idiotic fanboys?
may 2008, OKC. I saw Testament, Motorhead, and Judas Priest at the. Zoo Amphitheatre. Holy fuck was that a great show! After Testament kicked my ass for about 35 minutes seeing Motorhead and Judas Priest was like taking in the opera. They guys slay live. But thrashing for a half hour is a lot different than playing for 2 1/2 hours like a normal Metallica show
Testament is a great live band. But Motörhead was like opera? There was no better live band then Motörhead. They should have played after Priest on that tour.
Dr. Phibes in Red I don't know. I like Motorhead but was never as crazy about their music as a I was a lot of other bands. I love Priest with all my heart but they are way too old to do the real fast and heavy stuff for a whole show. They always end up playing a bunch of British Steel live. But it was Priest's Nostradamus your and they are by far the most successful band so they closing was fair. The band with the biggest following always closes. It's about ticket sales.
Stuart Otis You're right, it's about the ticket sales and the following and Priest are the biggest band on that tour. But then again, I grew up with Motörhead and they're one of my favorite bands. I was never a big fan of Priest. You see, it's all about personal taste. I know that Motörhead would never have played after Priest. I was just expressing my wishful thinking. I understand you completely.
Wow. I saw Motörhead with COC and it was just the 2 bands. Both were on stage for 1hour plus. Both band sound exactly the same in person. Megadeth and few others disappointingly don't. No one, and I mean no one could out play the Ramones. Rob Zombie's current line up with J5 and ginger fish comes a very close second.
Liza Alexis ............really? You have got to be kidding.
Gene " the atomic clock" Hoglan
Atomic clock with absolutely sick groove.
True Metal with balls !
This band ages like fine wine, this stuff is brilliant !
Metallica fans need to take their metallica goggles off and see that Testament 2016 is better than Metallica 2016 and that's a fact
fans never said metallica was better, and no its not fact its opinion.
I don't know what all the fuss is about Metallica . They are not even a thrash band anymore , new album proves it and that's a fact buddy
there are thrash songs on the album and at least it is not generic as fuck
I have been listening to Metallica since 1990 . Their best is way behind them where as I think this is Testaments best Album , so they have got better , better musicans also
I thought music was about preference, I guess not. I guess it's about who plays faster music ay?
One of the best solos Ive ever heard. Maybe the best for my taste. Alex hit every spectrum possible while making it seamless. Groovy as fukk
Still one of the best thrash bands around. The 80s were Testament, Exodus, Megadeth, Overkill, Death Angel and Slayer.
TESTALLICA TOUR, Bring it on!!
I love TESTAMENT..
"HARDWIRED TO THE SNAKE"
It sounds cool IMO
bitch please, brotherhood of self-destruct
metallica is shit compared to testament... don't fucking mix it cuz they'll add shit on testament's name
THC No they're not
both bands are great
different but great in their own way
"their own way"... what a "way" to say "ok, new metallica is fucking shit but they have good old stuff" ok, but the new album is a fucking shit and I said on youtube when all ppl was freaking around like "oh my fucking god this is so good" and I receive a lot of critics for saying the new song was a basic shit
testament is far better than metallica, that's a fact..
Now, Testament is greater than Metallica.
Hold your horses there son, Metallica is a national treasure.
Testament has always been one of my favorite bands Thrash Metal Rules
(Maybe) the best rhythm section (bass and drum) in heavy music.
fucking yeah
It's Gene Hoglan(Death) and Steve DiGiorgio(Death). Chuck Shuldiner knew how to pick people.
Gene Hoglan was the founder of Dark Angel.
yeah man a great drummer and a great bassist
Testament ages just like a good wine, with greater aroma and aftertaste.
Killer riff.
Hearing a lot of Kreator in it.
Gene Hoglan FTW. Drum god.
ok the transition and the riff at 0:30 has seriously got to be one of the sickest fking pieces of music ever written, anyone with me ? feels like my neck wants to disconnect from my shoulders there
Ancient Aliens the Musical! LOL!
The pinnacle of the big four. I call for a public vote. Who are the kings of thrash?
ONE OF THE BEST VOCALS OF METAL..
this song smashed every track on metallicas hardwired into the pit of hell!
80% of comments are about Metallica
20% of comments are about this song
+++ Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. +++
+ [Matthew 7:15]
this is my first testament album(im 21) I feel spoiled. it's so good. coverkillernation got me into testament because of his good review.
Their '88 album The New Order is my favorite and the first one I heard. Don't miss out on that one. They covered an Aerosmith song on it too.
Glad there is still hope for the youth !!!! Going to see them tomorrow (5-12-18) with Anthrax here in Vegas
wait to hear the gathering they reach kind of death metal dark shit...
Get first strike is still deadly asap!!!
They have a lot of fantastic albums but nothing is as good as The Ritual. That is a classic album.
Guys Please!! I LOVE this song... im listening to it aaall day! every morning when i drive to work.. i fucking digg it! Does someone have the Tabs for the Guitar ? I reaaaaaaaaally wanna learn it!
THE PALE KING MAKES THIS WORLD HIS OWN!
Metallica, Metallica, Metallica...Do you even know that this video isn't about Metallica or from Metallica?
I wished Metallicas new Album would have a production like this one, then u could compare it, because all 3 songs out now are good. But the sound/production is worse by far compared to this one, so Metallica-Testament 0-1 (0-2 if u count in Dark roots)
I have no need to compare these two bands. Because they're both unique. But production? Yes, Testament's winning right now.
if you don't like what Metallica is doing let them know! go to their websites write them what have you and let them know they need to play heavier and have a thicker sound or whatever the case may be i for one Love what Metallica has been doing they sound like themselves and come at things in their own way and am glad they are different. if they sounded like they were trying to compete with OverKill and Testament it would come off as phony IMO.
Metallica
Metallica
Metallica
Slayer
Megadeth
Metallica will always be King. But man it's good to hear Testament kill it. James and the rest of them are good friends with Testament, a lot of respect for these guys. IMO they both are killer, but I love that Testament stays with the old school thrash.
Still better than todays music
Good song, I like how they had a blues rock riff at 1:54 and a black metal-ish riff at the end. Wish it was a little less compressed though.
Testament is a great thrash band....Exodus is brutal though...take a listen to Iconoclasm..especially live atwacken.
Why haven't I heard this band before? Seriously, WTF?
You need to spread the word . Deserves a lot more than 385,000 hits should be at least 10 times that .
I agree... I found this bad maybe 5 years ago, I couldn't believe these guys didn't hit the mainstream like Slayer, Pantera, Shitallica
Ethan Dodge Do. Not. Disrespect. Tallica. *TRIGGERED*
Paul SZ *insert obnoxious bass line here* haha sorry, heard someone say Shitallica in another post and thought "why didn't I think of that..."
testament is literally the unofficial fifth big four member.
Best thrash band! I fucking love these guys
Best thrash metal band in my opinion. Once again they released an amazing record !
Can't wait for Kreator and Overkill. This year is the year of thrash!!!
This album is so bloody good. Totally reks my face!
\m/
Love the song, but the video is cheesy. If you want to shoot a low budget metal video, just go into a dark forest or something..
No shit. I've been a fan for years and I think the only decent video they ever made was for Return to Serenity.
the older singer gets the better gets his articulation
eating a tuna-mozzarella salad listening to this,best salad !

What can I say? They are back fucking stronger than ever! Looking forward to see these guy in Karlín on 25.11. together with Amon Amarth and Grand Magus!
So, are Team Cherry fans of Testament, then? lol
