Patsy Cline! Her moving performance from the Pet Milk Grand Ole Opry on February 18, 1963. Sadly, it was to be her last appearance on this show. Cline did make one more television appearance before the fatal plane crash on March 5, 1963 that cut short her life and what would have surely been a long recording career.
@@vembayanselvaraju8371well Randy wasn’t a well trained pilot. He was upside down and low. He lost the horizon. Too stormy.. he should have waited. They were almost home
I love Kentucky and I love Patsy. She would remind everyone that she was a country girl through her vocals, no matter how much the movers and shakers tried to make her a pop star? Don't mess with "The Cline".
Patsy Cline was before my time a bit…I was only 1 when she died. I had heard of Patsy Cline and knew she was killed in a plane crash, but I saw the movie Patsy and Loretta, and it made me want to know more about who Patsy Cline was. Just kind of discovering her. What a voice! Geez! Wow, why on earth would she fly in a rickety old plane in that weather?! So sad.
i have a theory that because of the car crash experience she was like if anything happens ''i'd rather go down with a plane'' she was sensing demise like stories go and didnt want to take car ride back. and she was like she doubted all these stars with her go down in this way(so so ill fate) it was like in strange way assuring feeling. i know probably it makes no sense in this moment but it's only my opinion. look how near they got i belive she had much more faith in randy hughes flying than others. just my speculations...
Floyd Cramer on piano. He played the piano during the first Elvis' sessions for RCA (january 10-11, 1956). See the vídeo "Chet Atkins & Floyd Cramer 1965" on You Tube.
Very talented woman, just amazing, is so baffling how now a days any one can just claim to be singer and make lots of money by aggressive advertising but no actual talent unlike people back in the day.
My sister loves patsy but would always skip this song. I showed her the king of the hill version now she constantly blasts patsys version haha she honestly has the best version
February 18th 1963 her last appearance sadly. No one to this day can match her vocals such talent. If I didn't know any better that looks like the watch she was wearing found at the plane crash scene.
Patsy Cline sang, “She’s Got You” Which just only really does also prove The bum wasn’t good enough for you The poor woman ran into some real refuse Akin to another dog and cat animal rescue
Love this song. She could sing anything and sound good. Beautiful on the outside and on the inside. I remember when she got killed. I was a kid when that happened. I can remember seeing her name on the grand ole Opry as one of the guest.
She's so cool. Love how she barely moves while her vocals are doing EVERYTHING. Brilliant yodel, growl, and phrasing. Love you Patsy ❤
And made it look so easy in the process. Legend.
The growl was Patsy’s trademark
She was one classy 👏 lady ❤ and what a marvelous voice 😍
holding herself back here - doesn't want to scare the yokels
How the hell could you vote Thumbs Down on this?
Patsy Cline was and always will be the queen of country music.
Damn straight!!!
She is one of all my favorites
Best song ever
This was the first Patsy Cline song I ever heard as a child, and I fell in love with her music because of it. Exceptional talent taken far too soon.
She was really pretty!
Make out lips
They certainly don’t make em’ like this anymore......RIP Patsy🙏🏻Cline.....
That growl at 1:20
What a woman!
And that high note at the very end!
Holy-smoke, what an amazing performance. ❤❤
*" Patsy Cline-- can sing ANYTHING!!"*

Many singers died in plane crash....suspect at that time airplanes were not properly built....not properly maintained....
@@vembayanselvaraju8371 Also not properly piloted.

I absolutely love the way she interprets this sing. It is a beautiful work of art. She was so awesome. What an amazing performer.
Same year she passed... kind of ominous but I still loved seeing her singing here
Actually one month before she died....
I love Kentucky and I love Patsy. She would remind everyone that she was a country girl through her vocals, no matter how much the movers and shakers tried to make her a pop star? Don't mess with "The Cline".
Two weeks later... RIP Patsy.
Sorry, Elvis! Aber Patsys Version ist besser! Aber dafür bist du der King! Okay?
Still awesome in 2021
I'm in love with Patsy Cline even in death
I feel the same way about David Bowie. I hate these dumbass celebrity crushes.

I love this version like the movie one
so many have sung this song well...but that semi yodel seperates Patsy from the rest , true country at its best.
One of the most beautiful voices in music very beautiful sweet lady ☺️❤😇✝️

Thanks for that👍
They kept trying to make her sound like "pop" but Patsy stayed true to her own style. We love ❤ you Patsy singing your own style with the angels now.
get. it. gurl. !!!
The Bill Monroe classic performed only the way Patsy could.
Her voice had style ❣️
She sings like Liz Fraser of Cocteau Twins. She must be a Scots-Irish descendent.

Perfection.
That’s that artist touch that so many End up missing.

Unpopular opinion Patsy got bested by Mandy Barnett
I learned of Patsy Cline from the Sweet Dreams movie. I was a little kid. To this day I LOVE Country music and Bluegrass too. ❤❤
Patsy had a good backing band.
Chop chop Patsy! We want you here tomorrow, you bring love and joy to our lives!
Wow. Profound. Keep your ear out for something good. Patsy ain’t done yet.
she did sang with no effort but i think Jessica Lang did a good job playing hrer
@Hunter Dowdle So true! And did a phenomenal job of singing like her! I've still never heard anyone sound so much like Patsy as Beverly D'Angelo!

Imagine the huge amount of music she could (and would) have recorded in the decades to come.... what a tremendous loss to the world 💔
