Absolutly amazing! When I listen this song, I wish I was a rockabilly lady dancer and fly all over the dance floor. Nobody does songs like this anymore.
Jeevan Nathan sorry you can't blame them for changing. You can't expect them to stay the same forever that only you and a few others know about. You should be happy that they are at the point they are at right now and if you don't like their sound now go back and listen to their first three albums.
Amassing a wider audience is not an issue here (Frankly that's a shitty argument)... but losing your identity and what makes you unique in the process of it is not exemplary... you might wanna look into a band called The Black Keys to grasp what I mean... cheers.
They were absolutely the best these early years, maybe they will resurrect this early attitude - bring back sh^t kicking rock and roll! Haven't listen to much of them but people seem excited about Greta Van Fleet?
@@Jevandrixx their lives changed. They aren’t on the heavy booze and drugs like they were in their 20s hence the change in sound. They are older with families which is just a part of life.
@@HolyRollerKOLyou don’t need to be on drugs to play like this lol. The hives are way older and put out a song (crash into the weekend) which is more kings of Leon than anything they’ve done in the last decade.
I respect your view but when they went main stream, with really bad chart grabbing awful sell out 'songs' that did it for me. I saw them live on a few occasions prior to 2004/5 and they were unbeatable.
JB l true. I hate I caught on to them late but when they released aha shake I was 4 so I had no option until really 07 or 08 to know who they were. But now I see the difference. And I will say aha shake might be their best ever. I still like their new stuff as much but we all have our differences. It takes a couple of hits for younger people to start digging deep and finding out the band they are. Honestly it’s sad but if you wanna make a living as a band now you almost have to write chart hits for people to listen to you. But also they are more polished as musicians. On youth and young manhood jared pretty much plays one note on the bass each song but hes starting to become a better bassist Matthews guitar playing on walls has also improved from their first album.
JB l although in 04 their songs had more grit and I will definitely have that opinion. I think the closest songs you will get to grit are songs like find me, don’t matter, rock city, family tree, and eyes on you
Even though this performance is only 19 years old, it looks like it could have been in the 70's. Love this song!
Reading this a year later and realizing this is a 20 year old performance made me wither into dust
song still kicks ass though
Best band since the 70's love it
The real Kings of Leon.
First heard this while playing motor storm on the ps3,good times 👍🏻
Great song, when the Kings rocked and were dirty. Now they play stadion rock for the masses. It was a decision for the money.
This guys don't have the respect they deserve. Amazing band! 🤘🏼🇧🇷
Back in 2003 American Eagle had a CD compilation, The Only Spring Break CD You'll Need. This was track 2, was hooked from day 1.
You too???
Lol this is 03? Woooo amazing looks a band from the 70's 😄
Absolutly amazing!

Pinche rolota lml
¡La mejor banda! :)
Whats insane is that Caleb is 21 in this, looking and sounding like a 41 year old. Jared was 16 and looks it!
This band played at het bulwark NL 1998? I gave the singer two E before they went on stage. He didn’t want to come off!
Holy shitta! this just made my day😃🤩
Favorite band.
Gotta hand it to Matt and Jared. They've been consistent since the early days. Easily my favourite members haha!
Hope they it, at Lido/Linz Festival!❤
They had sound, identity, attitude...Now they are at the spiral staircase going down...

JB l that must have been cool to be able to see them in those days though
