I 100% prefer the comfort of the older trains. Especially the mk3 coaches. Only new train that I've found to be comfortable are the Stadler units on Greater Anglia. Although they're not as good as older stock in my opinion.
The 87 kinda sounds like that toy that you keep turning upside down and it makes the noise haha
