I ran it in 2:12. Without any training, without doing it before, And I'm 46, and overweight. A couple who tried with me, went over 3min. A couple of the younger guys ran it in 1:40 or so
I've taken this, It's a good baseline test for people. I would recommend to train to exceed this. If you can exceed this you are guaranteed to pass. I will say, this building they did this was not air conditioned. A good analog for what you may face in the real world. Sure its indoors, but when it feels like its over 100 degrees in a ware house where there is no air flow, its challenging. I was the third group to go through, so it was well warmed up by the time I got there.
These are the nicest people I have seen giving a PT agility test. However, I still remain on my comments that if this test is so cruical why isn't required for all personnel every year? As a former California police officer and officer of the year for two years running, FTO I still believe the officers should be required to complete an annual PT agility test. In Georgia this month a 23 year old sworn officer died in a foot pursuit (RIP Brother). Moreover, as a SPECOPS Team member our trainging was mandated every year and if you did not pass you were grounded. I have seen some well rounded officers in my time---which does not bring credit to the uniform
Agree one thousand percent. Too many wear a badge and do not present well in uniform. Reduces respect in the community and I guarantee you perps are checking you out to see if you will keep up with them when they run.
@@thesnakelady127 it wasn’t bad you start feeling tired fast if you can jump the fence and wall you should be good practicing running around your home and pretending to jump hurdles
As a Physical Trainer I like the course. I would like to use this to train those seeking law enforcement, and corrections. How do I obtain details of the course?
