@sumeetasandhu when there is horizontal fracture or oblique fracture in middle third and apical third it is better to do splinting then when the problem(fracture ) is solved we will follow up the patient until 6 months and doing vitality test . but when there is still displacement or splinting did not have affect and granulation tissue formed(sometimes bone as well) between fracture parts of root we will remove the splint then doing RCT to coronal part of the root (regarding the apical part of the root i am not sure it should be removed surgically or leaving it?) whole what i wrote is correct or not
@@linaomaraljizooli3722 that depends on the response of the tooth to the treatment. Whether it becomes mobile, pulp, necrosis , pain, et cetera. And on how well, you splint the tooth
For fracture in the apical one third and middle one third you can wait after splinting In case symptoms of pain and tenderness develop then go and for RCT .
Helo maam I had an injury some 1 year ago and it was apical 1/3rd fracture at my upper incisor but the doctor do not push back with finger again back to its position he directly do splinting so even now there is a little pain but only when eating something hard. So, one week back I went to doctor for x ray for another reason that is to put braces but the fracure is still there but has a little bit healed. So , maam please tell me what to do??? By the way i accidently watch your video and fall in love with the wonderful way of explaining things. If there is any treatment i want it done from you maam?? Where is your clinic maam?? 🙏 🙏 help!!!!
Don’t worry about the x-ray. It takes longer time to show radio capacity in the x-ray. Even if radio lucency is showing bone formation is taking place.
For conservative management it can be obturated till the fractured line. Doing apicocetomy in this area can be pretty challenging and may not be fruitful. If the patient is symptomatic/ pain/ tenderness after obturationt then it is best to go in for extraction.

Is treatment of coronal third fracture same wether it’s below or above alveolar crest? And please address it
Yes initially
@@sumeetasandhu
Would u explain what will be different lately if it's same initially please?

Thank you so much
Thank you ma'am, do more videos
Thanks
Instead of splitting we can do arch wiring?
Arch wiring is indicated in case there is associated Alveolar bone fracture. Otherwise splinting is sufficient
In case of horizontal fracture,we have to do RCT immediately after splinting or after 21 days?

What about vertical fractures mam
They go for extraction mostly
Ma'am where is your clinic.....same problem
Do you have a root fracture?
Amazing video mam😊

Maam I have sent you the mail.
Please! Check maam
What if the patient doesn’t feels any pain or discomfort also if there is no mobility in the tooth but xrays still show the fracture?
My friend is going through this at the moment but what will be the right way to deal with it?

Mam, What if patients ask for extraction? Can we perform it?
Yes
Hello mam, can please share what is treatment and prognosis for middle 2/3rd root fracture in mesio buccul root of maxillary second molar
