Amen to that. Quit being cowards gun owners. 2A for life, 3 percenters, “Imma veteran!”, youre all so proud until you risk discomfort or being persecuted. Just give up guns and collect your govt check to be a slave to your king.
Those both actually look like good options. First one seems a bit pricey. The problem with these is that they’re safe... for now. The ATF can just decide later down the road that having these on your pistols turns them into SBRs or AOWs or whatever and now you have to remove them or register your weapon. It’s exactly what they are doing with pistol braces now. We are being told that items that were perfectly legal and fine to buy, own and use when we spent our hard earned money on them, are now not okay and could make us potential felons. It’s almost like giving a school bully your lunch money in order to appease him. ‘Maybe if I make him happy today, he’ll be satisfied and leave me alone tomorrow, right?’ Don’t count on it. The bully will keep coming back for more. So will the ATF. At some point a line in the sand has to be drawn.
My advise is to "lay low" until december, since we are now all felons. The aft is granting us FELONS amnesty giving us time to december to "register" our pistols. I'm hoping that we can get the aft abolished by then or have a court ruling in favor of our RIGHTS, since what we own is legitimate, in spite of the rulz changes by the aft. I dunno about that Black Collar Arms APS. When the APS is positioned at the end of the buffer tube, it certainly looks like it will accrue points in Sect II for being "useful in shouldering" and lacking features to "discourage" or "prevent" shouldering.
Mass non compliance also works. Imagine if 80% of pistol owners just started slapping stocks on and going public with it, making people who don’t understand this see how redundant it is. Laws are only laws because a percentage of Americans decided to comply.
I've always thought of it the same way, but with working. Even if just 10 million of us walked off the job for the day. They're entire scheme then crumbles.

A ton of us can't register even if we wanted to. We live in states that already dont allow nfa items. I guess we just lose our stuff then or be felons.
I had that same question, since you can buy an AR pistol braceless. It seems the language tossed around on the Internet seems to make the discussion on braces alone not on short barrels, that IMHO, is really what they are after. If it really is about braces alone, then it seems to me removing it and just using the firearm braceless gets the firearm out of the brace ruling all together, but the final rule is not out yet, I don't believe and could change. Glad you asked the question to keep folks thinking about alternatives.
Well considering you have to have a buffer tube for an AR pistol to function, So still a pistol. They have never said anything about shouldering a buffer tube.
Just went to the ATF site and read some of their background docs on the brace situation. The scoring form doesn't have all the info for complete understanding. If I read them correctly the options they list before even going thru the scoring form is to "remove the brace", then it seems like once removed, you're out of the process, nothing to score therefore nothing to register, turning, destroy, etc. Best read it to convince yourself. I just understand some braces may be integral to the buffer tube and can't be removed leaving just the tube, 9mm, pccs (pistol caliber carbines). Might have to shop for a properly fitting replacement.
Wow thank you for making this video. Another great alternative would be the thordson cheek rest. If you combine it with the lawfolder you get a few extra inches of length and it’s not a brace
@Michael A - please explain how… if you can? - cause I’m old enough to remember Bidens “assault weapons ban” in 1993 during the Clinton administration…
I have several of these and to actually get the Atlas Bipod feet to lock into place you’ll have to remove the rubber O ring from the foot as the O rings are a little bit to thick for this application. If Black collar moved the hole in the adjustable pistol support down ever so slightly it would eliminate this problem. While removing the O ring doesn’t affect the operation of the foot the lack of the O ring causes the foot to rattle slightly.
back in the day when they weren't legal or they weren't allowed to touch the shoulder, some people were wrapping the buffer tube with paracord. the ruling got pushed to December? hopefully we can fight the atf's tyranny.

An old handgun hunters trick is to attach a cord to the handgun then sling it around your neck and shoulder. Instead of pulling it into your shoulder like a rifle you push it away to brace it and steady the shot. I wonder how that would judged by the new regulations.
Do we even know if these will work, it's not just the brace, it also involves length of pull, accessories, weight, and other thing that don't really matter, beside force multipliers.
One of the biggest problems facing the gun community is retailers giving up their customer information to the ATF like Rainier Arms just did. You don't need this information to pay taxes, they are only keeping it as a get out of jail free, bargaining chip with the government.
That mag holder is interesting. I hope the brace rule either never comes to fruition or get smacked down like the frames and receivers rule got the narrow injunction
They will have an amnesty for the $200. That said, my AR pistol is not and will never be an SBR. But I wouldn’t mind the ability to carry a little extra ammo.
But they have some worksheet points system that you apparently have to fill out as well. Not sure if that will be in the final "rule" but idk. Gives you points for weight, accessories like red dots, back up sights, pistol grips, and angled foregrips. And I heard they are amending the Form 1.
Its only for braced pistols. Drop the brace and the whole worksheet is meaningless Don't get me wrong i understand completely that the brace was legally purchased. And also makes one more controled and accurate. I suppose the alphabet soup doesnt want us accurate..
I have a few Thorsden Cheek Rest, and actually like those over actual braces. 2 we're builds, 1 was bought as a pistol with a brace. As I said I switched it out for the cheek rest. So I'm wondering about those, especially with the one bought as a pistol with brace if that flies or has to remain as is.
That first on looks like it attaches on an extended pistol tube which is a no no according to the new rule extended buffer tubes are designed to shoulder
Clever idea with the pistol storage device and glad the ATF has acknowledged that it is not a brace or stock. However, as the ATF did the same for pistol braces then later changed their mind, having a letter from the ATF means nothing. Also, on the link provided, the video clearly shows that device being shouldered which is one of the criteria which the ATF has stated that they will consider when grabbing up pistols and reclassifying them as SBR's.
Well shit at this point we might as well stick a real stock on them, and make them full auto. Also gun fact, m855 green tips from a 20in barrel will zip through lever 3 body armor, the same kind worn by most law enforcement.
All the ATF have to do is say it's a stock. And we all know that's exactly what they'll do. This is a temporary getaround, noncompliance and abolition of the ATF is the only way.
There is a catch all in the rules. If an agent feels it is a brace it is a brace and you can argue in court. Mine do not have braces and I can shoot them quite well without a brace.
You would think they would want gun owners to have the most possible control of their weapon. Especially those of us who are disabled. These law changes are going to make people less safe.
As always, The Gun Community will demonstrate its thought diversity with the new brace rules. For people who already have Registered NFA items, getting a free stamp will probably be a no-brainer. For people who don’t, they will have to choose between getting on that list, changing their firearm configuration to be in compliance with the new rules OR doing nothing and risking arrest. Inevitably, there will be a lot more talk on the internet about non-compliance than there actually will be in the real world. To the point of this video, equipment configuration changes will probably be the most popular option for gun owners with braced AR type pistols.
oh ok, yeah and this is how the ATF traps you! by you registering it as an SBR, they now know you have a brace! and they are making the process alot harder, basically making it a difacto gun registry! oh yeah, im really gonna trust those guys!
When did the ATF have jurisdiction on items that aren't firearms, alcohol, or tobacco? Pretty sure violating people's right to keep and bear arms is illegal and have no power to regulate accessories or even firearms for that matter.
Can you just run your pistol AR with the buffer tube only ( with the rubber end) and not place it on your shoulder, only your cheek, or totally away from your body?
Yeah, you can also wipe back to front and sit down to pee..... Oh and I also forgot, tattoo your pronouns on your forehead so other people can know how you self identify, dont be a white supremacist cmon man!
That adjustable “support” is more of a stock than any pistol brace , Hell they may even charge you with a very grip since it’s 90° *_Mass non compliance_*
Well I guess I bought a PSD to replace my brace which I guess I bought to replace my stock and how deep does this go? Hope this fits on my snapback tube.
The pistol storage device link is bad! After finding it on line and reviewing the pictures sent to the AFT for review do not look like the final product. The magazine holder is at the end.
why would it matter when the barrel length of the AR pistol is less than 16" making it an SBR still needing to be registered? the only solution is to have an extra 16" complete upper for AR pistols to swap on when needed
The fascist ATF doesnt care. This has nothing to do with “legality”. If it did. It wouldnt violate the US Constitution by bypassing congress, laws being enacted by a non-elected organization.
I got the USA 1 SHOT for my Walter pistols, and it works on my Beretta 92, and my Beretta APX 160 pistol, so the versatility was insane to me. And protected from brace restrictions "connected".
Oh, no I don't see much value in bracing standard Handguns. If I'm going to wield something that large it needs to offer more than my sidearm in terms of capacity, muzzle energy, sighting, etc.
Does the mag carrier fit on a standard mil spec tube or a pistol tube? Is that a x39 mag? If so what kind do you prefer ASC is absolute trash in my experience
Could one angle the support to the left a little bit and use the support as a rear grip for the pistol? I've often thought that might work better than a brace or a stock.
What do you think about the pistol storage device now? Do you think they will still consider it to not be a brace? They just wrote their new brace rule, and I am interested in your feedback on the PSD. They don't seem to care about previous letters they've put out about other items they "approved" in the past.

The best way to keep safe your AR15's brace is proper use of the bullets coming out the other end.
I had no idea these existed and I’m a bit impressed! Love the spare mag idea, pretty sweet :)
A stock is a good pistol brace alternative
New to the gun game, decided to get an AR pistol, got lectured about pistol brace ban, livid I am. That PSD seems like a nice alternative.
Non compliance is the answer...
You don’t need alternatives.
Don’t give them an inch.
"I have a letter from AFT..." I guess if all else fails, I can use it for TP. 😝
Drop the brace and the whole worksheet is meaningless
Don't get me wrong i understand completely that the brace was legally purchased. And also makes one more controled and accurate. I suppose the alphabet soup doesnt want us accurate..
It's only a matter of time before they come for these as well, just like frt triggers.
Very good information now. Thanks.
Yeah, braces had a letter too.
🎯
I have a few Thorsden Cheek Rest, and actually like those over actual braces. 2 we're builds, 1 was bought as a pistol with a brace. As I said I switched it out for the cheek rest. So I'm wondering about those, especially with the one bought as a pistol with brace if that flies or has to remain as is.
I used tht on a KISS pistol A2 11.5 build. Came out very cool/minimalist with meprolight tritium irons
You know who else had a letter from the ATF Sig. A lot of good that does long term.
Looking forward to installing my rear mount carpenter's speed square storage unit. For when I need frame a house after shooting.
My truck is a destructive device.
they will add these too
You would think they would want gun owners to have the most possible control of their weapon. Especially those of us who are disabled. These law changes are going to make people less safe.
That's always been my advocacy for braces. Regardless of someone's physical abilities, the more control of the firearm they have the safer it is.
Thanks for the video!
Mass not compliance is the only way
I've actually thought about making an AR mag holder buffer tube attachment, but with two mags held horizontally.
You'll no doubt start getting an increase in views on this one! Semper Fi.
This is absolutely genius. Once this brace business runs its course the entire community will switch to rear grips. :)
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 that’s mountain bike bar end🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣. It works it works
That accepts Atlas feet
I lost my willingness to comply wit tyranny in a boat accident
Both of those are great options but for how long?
Very clever!
also cheek rest from Thorsden Customs or MFT or CAA
When did the ATF have jurisdiction on items that aren't firearms, alcohol, or tobacco? Pretty sure violating people's right to keep and bear arms is illegal and have no power to regulate accessories or even firearms for that matter.
Ha! So if I produce a buttstock and call it a, I don't know? a "support" or "recoil mitigating device" I am good to go? 🤣🙄
No, you also have to get approval from the ATF like PSD did.
Anything the military has is "in common use." Change my mind.
We the Passive People.
Yes. That's why this whole thing is a laughable non issue. Like gee Mr AFT man my AR is lighter now and not any less effective thanks. Lol

Seems so, at least if the final points classification system is like the proposal they put out.
8 months has gone by. How does this hold up today?
The Pistol Storage Device remains not a stock or brace and has its own letter from the ATF.
@@GBGuns Thanks. what about the round adjustable one?
The p.s.s. is amazing!
That adjustable “support” is more of a stock than any pistol brace , Hell they may even charge you with a very grip since it’s 90°
*_Mass non compliance_*
“SIC SEMPER TYRANNIS ET PRODITORES” translates
“THUS ALWAYS TO TYRANTS AND TRAITORS “!
I agree this is more of a stock than the brace. Automatically SBR. Like you said the pistol grip now becomes a forward grip
Nice but..doesn't matter. The objective is, to know who they need to target. Even if you were fully legit...doesn't matter.
Wait until tomorrow ATF will change their minds again.
Pistol Braces used to have an ATF approval 'letter' too, we'll see in Dec '22 if these survive. I doubt it.
Well I guess I bought a PSD to replace my brace which I guess I bought to replace my stock and how deep does this go? Hope this fits on my snapback tube.
It's so reassuring to know that the Pistol Storage Device has it's own "dedicated letter"...............welcome to the U.S.S.A.
They do because it's neither stock, nor brace. That's the declaration that is valuable.
I was thinking I would have to go with the HK sling method. But that 1st one with the scorpion. I'm not so shore.
A pistol isn't an SBR bro
The fascist ATF doesnt care. This has nothing to do with “legality”. If it did. It wouldnt violate the US Constitution by bypassing congress, laws being enacted by a non-elected organization.
Good ideas and good info. Those free market solutions though.
No compromise
No brace with a barrel still under 16” is still a short barrel rifle yes ?
Regards from new Washington
November and then if that does not work, well.
sorry but the mag holder and momo pod will makes it a stock. BTW... my arm brace came with an ATF letter, how did that work out?
Thank you for this info even though it’s sad this has to be made.
I got the USA 1 SHOT for my Walter pistols, and it works on my Beretta 92, and my Beretta APX 160 pistol, so the versatility was insane to me. And protected from brace restrictions "connected".
I had never heard of that company
@@GBGuns ua-cam.com/video/cdv7HqCcqR4/v-deo.html
@@GBGuns would you consider a review of the USA 1 Shot as well, I love mine.
@@locksfoils I've not heard of it.
Oh, no I don't see much value in bracing standard Handguns. If I'm going to wield something that large it needs to offer more than my sidearm in terms of capacity, muzzle energy, sighting, etc.
Nicely done 👍🙏😎
The thing about this pistol braceman is to register them all it would take 80 years. Chances are they're going to double down on that
Could you put a buffer with the mag holder on an AK or weapon that has no need for a buffer and it not be classed as a brace?
Correct, the mag storage device is not a brace no matter what you do with it.
Non compliance is the way letting the govt know that we are here to restrict them and not them to restrict us.
Does the mag carrier fit on a standard mil spec tube or a pistol tube?
Is that a x39 mag? If so what kind do you prefer ASC is absolute trash in my experience
Definitely looks like a 7.62x39 "Mutant" magazine for use in AR platforms.
@@tylerwilliams6022 mutant takes ak mags. That looks like stanag with the curve for x39
@@matthewbeaver5026
That right. I mislabeled it.
I don't pay much attention to 7.62 Soviet ARs, not my thing.
Thank you 😊
Yeah it’s cool what you said but fuck compliancy
Best alternative is a stock
Read the rule. Increased surface area is a no go.
Yeah, not bothering with their crap any more.
Which one did you have a bad experience with?
I'm hoping we can beat this, I was close to buying a Stribog 3A with a brace.
@GhillieGoat Don't want my place broken into, my stuff stolen and my pets shot just because the an opinion was changed.
We wont comply, God bless America, great video btw :)
They have def since covered with just enough but not reqlly qny info at all to mqke both of these worthy of worrying about your local l.e.o. being tyrants or just clueless sheeple like the congress woman that described the 1 ar15bshe evwr geld as being qs heavy as 2 full suitcases and using ammunition thar sounded like surface ro air missiles.
