POWERFUL HOMEMADE 24V ELECTRIC 4WD KART/WAGON!

So this is my homemade electric kart of many uses! running on a 24v system with two separate 24v motor controllers hooked up in parallel that then power an axle each with two motors wired in parallel as well. Each 24v 280w motor has a 30a fuse in case of shorting, and a larger 80a fuse protects the whole system in place before the motor controllers. controllers are 100a 24v fan cooled with forward and reverse built in with variable throttle. The frame is built from angle iron mostly with a few other bits for suspension and steering. Wheels are from a rotavator i believe but had to be modified to work.

I take it you'll be using it with your backhoe? you could make a connection to the alternator so that the trailer will charge while you fill it

That's brilliant! Where did you get the motor controllers? Inspired by your project, I began to look for a high current 4 channel controller but I have not found any.

Thanks bro! Just found them on ebay! Search 24v 100a motor controller they should pop up! They only have one channel each but you just wire two motors in parallel and it seems to work! Good luck man!!

Thanks buddy! Im an agricultural engineer hence everything i make ends up too heavy 🤣 this thing will literally go for hours and hours fully loaded. Dont know the exact weight but it carried enough camping gear for ten people in then out over the course of a weekend. It probs covered 5/6 miles with just a few hours on a solar charger! Hope this helps man!
