In this educational screenprinting tutorial video we discuss how to set up and print down the leg of sweat pants or other legging and pants. If you have ever wanted to print down the side of any pant leg, then this video will show you how. Here we take a look at artwork set up in reference to how it will appear on the leg of the sweats. Find out how not to make the mistake of printing text “upside down.” Learn about the pallet and screen set up as well as the printing itself. This tutorial screen printing video gives you a thorough rundown on printing pant legs on a manual rotary press. Greetings I really like your video'm just starting out in printing but have a question I have water-based inks I e tried mesh 43 threads but the fine details are danam, I think I should use 60 mesh or that you recommend me I would also like to know what kind of rasketa I use square style or style spear, please give me some advice, thanks

What ink I can use for polyester bags

The brand would not matter really. It's the darn small area you need to print in. Honestly I used to hate when a sales guy would sell those razor backs to be printed with a design far too big. Also have you ever seen "Glow in the Dark" ink looking to get some things made and people look at me like I'm from space when asking.

Thanks for subscribing! I appreciate your support. I have not made a video like that since we can screen print on any brand garment and it does not really matter. The knit is what matters most. The tighter the knit the better it will print. Normally I used to leave the brand and make of the garment up to the customer. If it's a brand then you can use whatever is best suited for your brands image. Yes, I sell glow in the dark ink here: catspitscreenprintsupply.com/economy-glow-in-the-dark-plastisol-ink-gallon/ but it needs to be on a white under base for dark garments and the effect is not often seen. If you want an ink to glow in black lamps like when at the clubs then a true phosphorescent ink is what you need. Thanks for watching. Hi,thanks for the reply. I'm honestly lost on this subject. We have local apparel companies and when you ask for quotes they just give a book to look at different styles and brands. This will be something that we sell in the store, so giving a heavy quality hoody or crewneck for the price is crucial. I see many online companies that print use oz to describe the weight. I've also been told,i can buy Roots quality clothing but have that fishy feeling with the counterfeit problems.
Thanks for the link about "Glow in the Dark" ink,I was looking for the Glow stick look ( Nice and bright). During the day it charges from the sun and glows during the dark 6+ hours. I've also been looking for stickers and have chased about 15 leads from the USA to the UK,everyone said they used to make "Glow in Dark" Stickers or just don't have a clue. I can't be the 1% wanting this for my business for unique branding.
What's your typical order size for placing a order.I've been watching what you do and have been very impressed. Most people don't teach for free anymore with a trade like this..

Gazooo29 Many shops will have samples and if not you should be able to sit with a sales person and order in a few samples. If the job is big enough they will do this no charge otherwise you may have to pay for samples you then own. The weight of the garment has to do with the amount of material used to make it. Normally the heavier the weight the more substantial the garment feels. Also dyed garments will inherently feel thicker than whites. That is because the dye swells the fabrics. I don't think there is a glow in the dark ink that will do what you want. Glow in the dark is considered to be a novelty and I would seriously consider its use. Honestly I have not had the demand for glow in the dark ink since the 80's when I worked with my brother. Since then I have never printed it even at other commercial shops since. The demand for it is there but not greatly. I actually do not print anymore. I enjoy teaching now and I sell equipment and supplies. Since I sell the stuff to print I like to make videos for everyone to learn from. It's also a creative outlet for me.

The cost depends on what brand and style of sweat pants you want to offer. Some sweat pants cost more than others. The resale amount usually is a 100% markup for retailers but for a mall kiosk it may need to be much higher. I'm not a businessman otherwise my business would be much bigger than it is now..... I really love screen printing but my budget is not enough Lol i can't even buy squegee and emulsion scope . I only use a piece of rubber as my squegee and 10 inch of aluminum bar as my emulsion coater. Because its too expensive, I wish i have one of those Lol.

I can only find sweatpants with a seam down the side of the leg, so I can't print down the leg. Any suggestions?
None other than simply print the front or back of the sweat pant legs. I mean you might make a sleeve pallet from MDF board and put a groove down the middle to lay the seam in but the print would still have to go over the seam.
