Another great video Rich. Keep'em coming! Nice size jet. I'm really liking these larger EDF's - already have 110mm F-16 and 105mm Super Viper V4. My first turbine, a 2.2m Viper Jet, is in route via FedEx as I write. Pretty excited to start the build on it.

It looked like to me that the Servos were screwed to the servo hatch cover, not just dropped into a pocket. Very nice.

Rich. That L-39 is a bute. I'm impressed. Love how you pay attention to detail on the assembly. Glad to see Banana Hobby stepping up in quality. Hope this transfers down to the smaller models as well. You think you will have room in your toy hauler to bring this to Joe Nall? A lot of us would sure like to see it. :-)

Great work Rich, a lot of people will be anticipating the flight video. I'm one of them!! $1000 dollar bird for sure, but very very impressive. I wonder what the next model will be?? Always like your build videos. Wow....Banana just took a hard right turn towards quality. AirHammer out!!
They had a production T-45 come in with my blue Breitling scheme. The T-45 looks like a sweet turbine version and will be a sweet EDF!

The Quality Smokes HSD :) .... gonna sell off all the HSD stuff. They simply can't compete with the quality of AF Models:)

Looks like an HSD type of plane... specifically the way the nose attaches to the fuse... Any thoughts?
HSD cant even make any jet look right, there T-33 with flat wings and tiny wheels, Me-262 ugly bright color camo and they made the flaps wrong . Theres so much info about real jets dont see how you can get it wrong
This AEROFOAM (AF) Models brand at BH smokes HSD! HSD cannot even really be compared with the quality of AF MODELS! Stay tuned, more AF 105mm EDF jets are coming to BH!

Good video but you need some tools 😉😉😉
Got mine in a couple months ago, was slowly working on it but my canopy was horrendous. Incredibly warped, trying to get a replacement sent, hopefully they will send one. They brushed it off before. My wires in the fuse were also just tossed in there, not even mummy wrapped and taped nicely like yours were. Hopefully it flies well otherwise I will be sorely disappointed with this purchase.

@@RCINFORMER Hey Rich, just wanted to update. I have been fully ghosted by banana, to the point where I just ended up buying a new canopy in hopes of flying it. Now I found that the fan is unbalanced and frankly I'm so tired of them that I'm just going to get rid of this as it reminds me of more headache than anything else by looking at it. I really hope I am a one off case. I wanted to thank you for you trying to help me out.

How about quality compare hsd jet
I have videos of both, AF Models makes a far superior model than HSD. HSD models are ok, but they need to improve the quality to meet the quality of AF.

It is not simply just a foam plane. It is really a composite hybrid since it is made of foam, plywood/balsa, and other materials for the structure. I agree about the price but you have to look into why something costs what it does. HSD birds cost like this as well.
Better then Junkwing or Freejunk
It allows you access to a larger plane without the turbine expense. Or in my case, I'm looking at it for a first turbine build. If I stuff it or scuff a landing the learning curve won't hurt as bad as a composite, not to mention parts availability and wait times right now.
@@heavy_duty You can buy Black Horse balsa model for $700... this is overpriced
