The drag isn’t the best, but I have three Fuego CT reels and have been very satisfied with how smoothly they cast. For the price, it’s pretty hard to beat this reel.
If you were using bigger line like 20 lb fluoro would this line guide be more accommodating to a know because on my tatula I have to completely stop reeling to pass the knot through the thin opening where the line goes on the spool
roland villanueva yea that's what I'm saying if you do a longer leader with bulkier line it gets caught and it must be weakening the knot every time it goes through
I find the original fuego to be superior, same weight but it had a bearing supported levelwind and main gear(so called xship) same body as og tatula but palms good, ct is deceivengly smaller.
yes and no, it will fit but its 33mm while the Fuego is 34mm in diameter. So there will be a significant gap between the spool and the frame where you line can easily slip through
@@THEREELTEST so are there aftermarket spools available for the Fuego CT because of 17 g spool is quite heavy especially for throwing lighter baits. I have a Fuego in my hands today just delivered, it is a stout little piece of machinery. I am thinking of putting it on my zebco hotcast and putting 6 lb or 8 lb mono on it for those creeks and shorelines with weeds lily pads so I've got a little rod that will do a lot haha. Would there be any disadvantage to putting lighter line on it so I could maybe go down to 1/8 oz lures? Or am I asking for backlash City going with such light line on such a heavy spool? I know the older SLX and other shimanos that had the centrifugal braking system there spools were not that light either... So knowing all of this am I better off buying a SLX BFS or upgrading the daiwa with a aftermarket spool which about puts them exactly equal price-wise??? Your advice would be greatly appreciated in this matter because I will just box up the Fuego and send it back if the SLX BFS is a better option for the same amount of money spent. Thank you once again for all your time expertise ensuring your observations and wisdom with all of us it is much appreciated blessings and aloha T
Was real interested in this reel bc I didnt care for the t wing as much on my CT R. oh btw I noticed you are mentioned at the Tackle warehouse Curado K reviews comments at the bottom of the product listing page..
Daiwa claims the Fuego has more line capacity than the revo X so either daiwa way overshoots line capacity or Abu way undershoots because there's no way the Fuego holds more line.
THE REEL TEST yessss!!!!, you actually responded! Do you think you are going to put some fishing content on your channel? If not, can you make one for me?
Who can guess the remaining 4 reels?
THE REEL TEST can’t guess em all but will the caenan be one of them?
Hummm.... Abu Orra SX, Quantum Accurist, Shimano Caenan and Okuma Cerros?
Pro q 2, caenan
Caius, bass rise, Pro max, Stealth
13 fishing origin c
Excuse me sir.
Spool weight? Thanks.
I do not know if you know already?
But if you do not, the weight of the spool is:
... 17.2 grams. ...
Hope this helps.
Aloha
I have the rod(7'3"MH) and this reel and it's a great combo. Great for throwing the Fat Ika a long distance.
Hi. Can I pair this reel with Ugly Stick GX2 6' - medium - rod? Thank you.
Yes
No, it’s against the Law.
@@Neji90 best answer ha!
Great reel, got one when they first came out, casts really far.

I dont see why not, ill show all the line guides on the big tabletop comparison
I know what your mean.. sometimes when I use a leader and make a bulky uni to uni, it lodges in the t-wing
roland villanueva yea that's what I'm saying if you do a longer leader with bulkier line it gets caught and it must be weakening the knot every time it goes through
That's why I don't buy Diawa if they got rid of the t wing id be on top of it tho
I'd never thought about that. I was about to buy a tatula 200 but this has me a bit worried.
I find the original fuego to be superior, same weight but it had a bearing supported levelwind and main gear(so called xship) same body as og tatula but palms good, ct is deceivengly smaller.
whats ur favorite 100$ reel
Will the tatula sv spool fit the fuego CT
