Writers who proclaim themselves as music critics also have another name: idiots. The abuse they have given Phil over the years just baffles me. Yes there was a time when maybe he became too pop for his own good, but his talents cannot be ignored. And with his influences of rock, jazz, & the R&B sounds of Motown & EWF, his early solos couldn't even get played on the radio because as station bosses saw it, the man didn't seem to match the sounds. He is a TRUE Hall of Famer, and his band was the absolute best. So were Bridgette Bryant's dresses on this tour!

I think it's great here(and in the whole concert)how Phil engages the audience. It shows you how music brings people together, even if we don't all speak the same language. Because everyone understands when he sings, "Digaleeeeee---oh!"

My mistake, It was "Tomorrow never knows" I was thinking of. Interesting (to me) He opened his Seriously tour with Hand In Hand. At the Bryce Jordan Center, I was on the asile, and he high fived me as he walked past during this song.

No, it's one of Phil's songs. He did do the Beatles' "Tomorrow never knows" on the same album, though.

these were the times when Phil was on his peak. Excellent concert-opener! But in the following years his music unfortunately became worse and worse...
