Declan Flanagan’s First Mobile Phone

Here’s a friend of mine, Declan Flanagan from Blackwater in Co. Wexford showing me the first mobile phone he ever owned. He was living in a caravan in London back in the mid 1980s so not the stereotypical ‘upwardly mobile’ character you’d associate with such a device back then. I filmed this yesterday on my mobile phone and now I’m sharing it with you on the same device. How times have changed! Have a listen.
