- There are always vintage toys to be found if you look hard enough. Today we head back to the City of Wells in Somerset as I spied something in a charity shop window when the shop wasn't open. Fingers crossed it's still there today!

Back the late 80's/very early 90's you used to be able to find Kenner Star Wars figures at fetes (bric a brac stalls) and car boots, ten to a penny. My current pipe dream is to find a Kenner Star Wars figure in a local charity shop. So that Boba Fett find, to me, is an amazing find! Congrats!
Had a good day yesterday! Among other bits I got Streethawk with Jesse [LJN Toys version] for £1.99, just missing fairing cowl, and a really good condition diecast Go-Bot called Cy-Kill for £2.99!
The opening for this video is just amazing!
Thanks!
Hi Toy Polloi.
Thank you for supporting young lives against cancer.
My wife opened the cabinet for you that day.
I don’t know if you saw the notices around the shop but we
are closing down on November 9th.
On a happier note there will be a Rock Lord arriving in the
cabinet soon. Kevin (deputy manager)
Thanks Kevin. I had heard it was closing. Such as shame as I always have a look in. I'll make sure to check by soon as I could do with a Rock Lord! Cheers Dave
Be it ever so humble, a good haul is a good haul.
By the way, that was a fantastic intro!
Awesome! Always love these toy hunting vids Dave! Thank you and congratulations!👍
Charity shops really are excellent places to find vintage toys and some modern gems
I've had one vintage Action man and several action man from the 90s not to mention other toy lines like transformers all from local charity shops and the money spent goes to a good cause win win 👍👍
can't beat a good ol' charity shop 😀😀
Great opening credits!
I remember being pretty scared of Gripper Stebson from Grange Hill 😂
Iv got some vintage annuals as the only set I completed is Gerry Anderson’s Terrahawks a great show .
Hey Dave
Fun video. The buildings are pretty nice. Take care😊
That sticker book is soooooo awesome, Dave! Great find!! I remember having some of those as a kid. I loved making different scenes with them. You gotta make some pics and post them for the community!😃 Cheers!!
Also, love the X-Files intro!!👽🛸💚
The only thing I know about Grange Hill is the parody they did of it in the Young Ones. He said they had to get, "Mucker, Ducker, Trucker and Sucker." And Spaz as well. So the Tucker book adds some context to a show I have loved for 35 years or something. Nice!
“But I AM Spaz” 😂
Love that x-files intro mate! Fantastic! Some nice pickups too!
Oh you found a small Womble! I have the complete set. I remember buying some with my mother in Owen Owen during the early 1980's in Uxbridge.
Ps- if you composed that background music, well done its excellent 👍
Went to Denmark recently for a toy hunt, good times ❤
Another fun toy fair hunt indeed I really want to check these out in the UK which I still want to visit besides Japan and Asia always seem like a great fun time to do 🙌🙌🙌
Good find on fett. I found a g1 warpath in a 50p box a couple of weeks back
I have a plush Buzby and his books, they were like the Mr Men books.
Love the new intro!
Awesome video. I especially like the SW Ep1 The Phantom Menace annual 4:14 really nice. Btw the Transformers sticker book is a really great find 🔥👍😀
What an awesome intro!
Thanks! 😁
Firstly, great intro. Very well done indeed.
Secondly, "Sindystructable" is a brilliant name, I wish I had thought of that. Skeletor approves in a big way. I hope we see her again in the future.
Really like the Shadow Weaver book you found!
Thanks for taking us to Wells!
👍🐵
Thanks. I've been watching a lot of X-Files recently so had to do something.
Totally had that book as a kid. 😊
I very rarely comment on stuff, Dave, but that intro is next level, sir!
Thanks!
I had that too Dave! What a find. Can’t believe you found a vintage boba for £1.50. I paid £30 for mine.
You just have to keep looking as you never know what will turn up.
Great Dave
Sindystructable is just an amazing name. Cool to see you could find some personal memories on your hunt, even if actual toys were thin.
Nice one Dave! Just think, in 20 years time you'll be searching through those annuals and find one of yours probably, let's hope they want £13 for it 😂
I'd love to find my own annual in a charity shop!
Cool video finds and movie location I love hot fuzz
Brilliant opening titles! 😁👍
Thanks 😁
Grange Hill annual!
That new intro is awesome
Go to the big collectibles shop in Glastonbury high street next time. Its pretty big.
I've been a few times. Yet to buy anything as prices to me seem high.
And pretty expensive !
What an intro!
Love the intro
Love the intro, I'm a huge X-Files fan, and I have a bunch of the action figures that McFarlane released back in the day!👍
i see Doozers :D
Charity shops always charge lots for annuals! The mind boggles
Some do, some don't I find.
I went to a vintage toy fair in my home city of Bristol today, maaaahn, what a colossal disappointment. Not a single Transformer or vintage Star Wars toy in sight. In fact, there wasn't really any 80's toy stuff there at all, it was all vintage toy cars and trains (admittedly, I do love model trains, but I'm not in the market for any). I'd been looking forward to going to this thing for the last few weeks and it turned out to be a damp squib. Ugggh.
It happens. Just got to keep on looking.
@@toypolloi How do you keep abreast of toy fairs in the South West area Dave? A bit of Googling never seems to turn up much, I was just wondering if there was like a newsletter or something you're subscribed to or something of that ilk.
Love the new intro
Thanks
Your charity shops are neat! Ours are a mess in comparison
Pretty sure I had that sticker book as a kid
That Womble is Tomsk. I rarely get to demonstrate womble knowledge forgive the correction
Someone else said it was Bungo. I'm not sure either way.
@@toypolloiiwouldgowith bingo as Tom's wore a tank top and no hat
A steal the 2 starwars figures for £1.50 for a nice original fett would be double digits on ebay and less for R2D2.
Thats Bungo Dave not Orinoco :) I used to have the set of those pen tops bought in the late 70s from the old newsagent chain Preedy (remember them?) I wonder what happened to them?
You are correct. Bungo!
Is that where hot fuzz was filmed?
* About 5 seconds after I wrote this, I saw the sandwich board advertising hot fuzz tours. I was right, but if I had waited I would have saved myself having to type the above question out.
I was just about to say the same thing. I recognised the fountain and pub in the background
@@Richard-Hawkins.That's what I recognised aswell.
Then almost instantly after uploading my comment I saw the bit with the hot fuzz tours on it.
I would bought womble
Does the transformer book have blank white page in the middle?
It does.
LMAO
Love the new intro!!
Thanks 👍
