Having been redeemed at 15 yrs old , I got my first rez cassette in 1983 and It was such a blessing and witness to all the who knew me to see that ...as Wendy said Rock music is Good and was being used by the devil to kill and mock humanity. Having never seen this interview I never realized how Sweet Wendy was. Her authenticity and Godliness is quite evident.
I lived in said community, a couple of times actually - just over a year in the mid-80s my first stay - then a less-than-a-year stay again in the mid-90s. Glenn and Wendi, i count as valued friends. But when they got into "the call" - that raised my hackles for some odd reason!
Glenn and Wendy with Scott Ross ... now we are talking ....... They both stay with us in Racine a couple times .. Glenn is still sharing Jesus out there in the public .. and he is what we all need to be. ..... thom petersen .. (Lazarus)
I agreed immediately with Glen's comment about Paul in 1 Corinthians 9 saying he had become all things to all men that by all means he might save some! Excellent reference. And then Wendy hit the nail on the head that Satan has not created anything but has perverted something God has created. Great couple, great band - great ministry.
Great interview !! Still my favorite Christian band to this day & share their Chicago area roots. And one of the best blues rock bands in the past few decades...
I've been a fan of Rez since 1982 or thereabouts. I visited JPUSA when I was a student at Moody Bible Institute. They're the "Real Deal" I also appreciate the work that Cornerstone Magazine did in exposing Mike Warnke as a fraud.
@@ehrldawg lol. Yes. Great band- way way underrated. And that is from a non-religious person- Just as an observation I believe they could've been a household name had they not chosen to make it christian, but they are no doubt happy with the path they have chosen etc. Thanks for vid and have a nice day :)
Yeah !! I said the same thing when I first saw this in the 80s. I wonder if he said that more for his pre snowflake audience ;or did he really believed/meant that.
Loved their music and still some of my favorite. Saw them once in concert. Great show until they end when they tried to get people to join their commune. Felt like a cult then.
🎵I would say very Bluesy Soulful Rock at that🎶 A couple songs even had the new wave thing going on(very scary)😂😬glad it never went far and they stuck to their roots👍.
Their early music In 1978 - 1980 would be considered metal, but metal progressed in the 80's, and Rez's style didn't 'keep up' with it, so then they were more blues rock. What was considered metal in the 80's wouldn't be considered metal by today's standards. They were a great band, and a big influence in my life as a youth.
@@ehrldawgit’s not just a couple of bad apples, I’m a former JPUSA myself and I’ve seen the decline of what could have been a fruitful ministry, every kid that I knew that grew up there about 90% of them are secular or messed up or not following Jesus Christ, or living up to the holy word of God whatsoever this is more than just talking about a couple of bad apples, as I said before this is a tragic, horrible thing that affects the whole community instead of sweeping under the rug instead of being quiet about it, it said, saying we got rid of the bad people there needs to be true straight from the heart repentance
anytime sexual sin occurs you’re affecting the heart mind and souls of everyone involved. It’s no wonder so many members are cold, dead, desolate or secular. It’s no wonder their kids don’t follow Jesus.
What a beautiful smile and shining lady of the Lord.
Amen to that !!
I love this! Glenn has one of the all time best voices ever. Christian or secular.
No doubt !
Favorite Rez Album "Colours" absolutely fantastic
It grew on me as well !!

Whats *the call*?
Great testimonies and much wisdom
When this first came out,I showed it to an USAF chaplain who was a critic of Christian rock. After watching this,he was no longer a critic.
BTW, :Off The Wall" is an awesome album. I had all three tapes. Thanx for checking out my channel !!!
For me, Between Heaven 'n Hell was their best album.
I 100 % concure !!
Yeah, it was a kind of a comeback record; from an album many old-timers really h8ed among them?
@@steevrush What a comeback
Love Glenn, Wendi, Stu, John, Tom, Richard, Roy, all of Rez, Roger, Ed, and so on.

Thats what Ive heard.

I think Rez is retired.
When you get a chance, checkout the moving video that i did for Don't Walk On By. Made out of compassion. God Bless

How cool was it to be at Moody in the 80s,worshiping at JPUSA. I read the article on Warnke. I wonder if Warnke responded to that article.
Wendy was pretty cute. Like her voice too. HAd a punk rock edge to it.
I bet Glenn thinks shes cute also !!

I wonder when they are going to discuss the sexual abuse they did two children and Barry that someone needs to shut them down
If it happened,Im sure the community didnt sanction it. Shutting down a ministry because of a couple of bad apples is counter productive.
Show how many children is it cool to rape before someone does something@@ehrldawg
