@@IronSK Honestly if they fixed up the physics, loading screens, and made the overworld missions a bit easier, I'd buy a remake of Sonic 06.

Shadow found the gamer pad
They incorporated so many of the important events of Shadow’s past and present, including Maria being the most important person in his life. I cannot wait for Dark Beginnings, Sonic X Shadow Generations, especially with a potential reunion of Shadow and Maria and Sonic Movie 3, which I hope they do the iconic SA2 pose in the movie 🤩🦔🖤❤️👩🩵
Mephiles sneak attacked Sonic from behind while Sonic was off guard. Shadow on the other hand not only has his guard up, but also the attack is being faced towards his front. As such, he’s not more OP than Sonic.

With all the news we’ve been getting and especially today from This Sonic Central, When Sonic team said this was Shadow’s year, they meant it! And I couldn’t be any happier :)

My little fan theory is that Time eater ate the Sonic 06 timeline and maybe even Solaris itself possibly and that’s how the stages and villain is able to appear or something similar to that.
I ain’t the best at theories but I’ll be happy if I’m right in any way.
At least Mephiles return makes sense. A long time ago I heard it was shadow stuck in a realm made by the phantom ruby. (so long ago I dont remember where I got that info from) but now that its the time eater that's responsible and doesnt seem to be under eggmans control and if its making a mess out of time then at least mephiles returning makes sense cause it has the power of time so it could of either had made an attempt to restore the erased timeline or at the very least got mephiles from a point in time when he was in his form BEFORE the flame was extinguished erasing the timeline.
edit: also does ANYONE else find black dooms new voice familiar? I SWEAR I heard something just like it somewhere but I can't remember where!!!!!

Mephiles is my favorite Sonic villain next to Dr. Eggman, don't get me wrong. I also was very excited to see him show up. However, I'm awfully surprised that everyone is treating it his appearance wasn't coming at all. I found it really obvious since Sonic 06 is in Sonic Generations and this is Shadow's story. Lol
Oh and the announcement of the DLC being centered around Keanu Reeves actually voicing Movie Shadow and there was a game around him is chef's kiss! EEP! :)
What really got me hyped was seeing that Shadow could actually reunite with Maria and Gerald Robotnik, seeing that there is going to be more Sonic movies, and Gerald Robotnik's actual journal! LET'S GOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!! EEP! :)

We got Memphis Tennessee before GTAVI that's wild.
Even though its still weird that Black Doom is the main villain when Mephiles is, let's be real, the bigger threat by a wide margin; I'm just glad Mephiles's existence is being acknowledged by Sega by giving him some actual spotlight and that he is no longer cursed to ONLY be remembered as a good villain in an otherwise terrible game.

This Sonic Central is good. They reveal Mephiles. I actually like Oni Mephiles and Warrior Shadow. I was wrong about the release date for Sonic Rumble and about the mysterious character reveal for Sonic X Shadow Generations. I check the jp site later today to see if they updated.

While powers wise, it makes sense. I imagine that if Shadow is going to be Batman, it makes sense for Sonic to be Superman more because of their relationship.
Even then, I always like randomness/what I didn’t expect or wanted in different Sonic continuities.

Have Sonic-tubers just given up with not showing massive spoilers in thumbnails? The amount of things I've seen of this game from strictly thumbnails is insane. I feel like it wasn't like this bad with Frontiers or the movies.

I don't see many people talking about the Sonic campaign in Sonic Generations. Seems like we'll get nothing new added in that regards. Honestly, seeing a game get a single additional campaign for the same price tag is not gonna be enough to convince me to buy the game.
