All this means is that Towa is a really honest person who struggles with putting on facades. She's definitely a maternal woman too, she is just selectively maternal.
This was really relatable. The difference is, I do think of those things as cute but have difficulty expressing it. Like I want to say "wow! That's really cute!" But it doesn't sound natural from me. Instead my reactions come out closer to what Towa said she would say if she was honest about it. I'm a guy btw
Towa: "What should I do?" Okayu : "Be honest. Tell them you're feelings." Towa: "Okay, I'll tell them I don't find it cute." Okayu: "EEEHHHHHHH!!!????"
1:31 Towa, people already think you're a huge weirdo. But that's a good thing. it's what makes you so lovable. Don't just go along with what everyone wants you to think. you're an individual. Be yourself. Say what YOU think. Towa, mō min'na anata o sugoi henjinda to omotteru yo. Shikashi, sore wa yoi kotodesu. Sore ga anata o totemo airashiku sa seru nodesu. Min'na ga kangaete hoshī koto ni tada shitagau no wa yamete kudasai. Anata wa kojindesu. Sunao ni nare. Anata ga omotte iru koto o itte kudasai.
So this must be part of why Towa gets along so well with the Stars. There's less pressure to conform and more tolerance for individual thought among dudes.
Towa's pretty much always speaking her mind to the point it seems too frank sometimes, so I'd be surprised she's actually asking this of real concern...unless she wants to be a 'nicer' character like Okayu and Miosha
It seems like Sora is the one who showed Towa clothes she bought and asked if they were cute, to which Towa wasn't sure how to react. Based on what Sora said on stream.
I get how it's weird for her. She lives in the world of competitive fps, but then also in a group of idols. Shes gotten such good chemistry "with the boys" and worries about bringing that to her holo friends which are super girly
Seems like some people over think it. This is just a normal social thing, don't have to be super deep about it. Just reply it is cute and ask a question about it. "where did you get it", "how old is it", "did you buy it because of the color." No reason to cause friction with a friend or peer over something some small.
When someone ask me if they are cute or look handsome or the stuff they brought is cool I find very hard to give a compliment when I don't think it look good.... I could be straight forward but I don't want to hurt their feelings so I guess in the end I force myself to lie. (Wouldn't be surprised if they can see through since I give an awkward smile). I wish I can also be like Mio
Towa with strong Te function while Okayu and Mio have strong Fe function. All this means is that Towa is a really honest person who struggles with putting on facades. She's definitely a maternal woman too, she is just selectively maternal.
Mio is too much of a mama, she looks after her girls and their feelings.
So many girls? Sounds like what Ao-kun would say.
Love that Towa-sama is learning from the playgirl master, Okayu xD
"I do not" Towa said, she lied as naturally as she breathed. I seem to remember a few maternal TMT moments 😂
Put FWMC there
"I donated thousands to children, but I don't have mother instincts, trust me bro"
Sure, Towa. Sure.
Towa is a bad bitch real one and she just can't stop being a bad bitch real one even for a second. This is the burden she carries.
This was really relatable. The difference is, I do think of those things as cute but have difficulty expressing it. Like I want to say "wow! That's really cute!" But it doesn't sound natural from me. Instead my reactions come out closer to what Towa said she would say if she was honest about it. I'm a guy btw
I mean, Mio is cute at all time, so yep totally the answer I expected.
It's not like we bros slam dunk each other every time we have a difference. It's sometimes better to soften the blow a bit.
So basically Honne and Tatemae 😂
Towa : I can't understand cute things... what is the big deal?
Also Towa : Melts everytime her cat appears on stream
or FuwaMoco
True. The gap moe between usual Towa and KoTowa tete moments are unreal.
Mio is such a mommy.
I asked my cat if my keychain was cute. She just licked her rear a bit and then stared at me with her tongue stuck out and then ran away.
Towa: "What should I do?"
Okayu : "Be honest. Tell them you're feelings."
Towa: "Okay, I'll tell them I don't find it cute."
Okayu: "EEEHHHHHHH!!!????"
I'm not even surprised. They all go at it exactly as I expected
Towa is so me fr fr
So this must be part of why Towa gets along so well with the Stars. There's less pressure to conform and more tolerance for individual thought among dudes.
Im sure that is part of it. Men are on average less concerned about this sort of thing. Its part of why most of my friends are men.
Towa is me… 😂👍
I can't help but go yeah.. haha 😅 when people show me pictures of their pets and tell me how cute they think they are.
Towa giving hard to please Asian dad vibes
they weren't lying about towa banana, somehow she's unaware when aqua activates her maternal instincts
From personal experience... I feel towa pain
Mio really is the mama.
Towa continuously proves her angelic nature by disregarding her personal tastes to spare her friends’ feelings.
A good problem to have
Towa's pretty much always speaking her mind to the point it seems too frank sometimes, so I'd be surprised she's actually asking this of real concern...unless she wants to be a 'nicer' character like Okayu and Miosha
It seems like Sora is the one who showed Towa clothes she bought and asked if they were cute, to which Towa wasn't sure how to react. Based on what Sora said on stream.
Sound like Kanata
Sasuga mom… i mean miosha
Her maternal instincts really goes out and beyond
Moments like this make me remember how much I like Okayu
Lol
towa is also a dad
I think towa will get along with the bois indeed 😂
Always knew Towa was one of the homies
I get how it's weird for her. She lives in the world of competitive fps, but then also in a group of idols. Shes gotten such good chemistry "with the boys" and worries about bringing that to her holo friends which are super girly
Seems like some people over think it. This is just a normal social thing, don't have to be super deep about it. Just reply it is cute and ask a question about it. "where did you get it", "how old is it", "did you buy it because of the color." No reason to cause friction with a friend or peer over something some small.
"Women"
Starts with "I am also a girl" and concludes with "Maybe I'm too much of a boy"
So what Im getting at is that Mio and Okayu are mommas at heart-
I was under the impression that there were only girls in Hololive 😂
Towa suddenly get too real here.
This is essentially what happened whenever their friends come and seek validations from them 😂
When someone ask me if they are cute or look handsome or the stuff they brought is cool I find very hard to give a compliment when I don't think it look good....
I could be straight forward but I don't want to hurt their feelings so I guess in the end I force myself to lie. (Wouldn't be surprised if they can see through since I give an awkward smile).
I wish I can also be like Mio
Towa's final exasperated please, "Does that solve my problem in any way?" is so funny.
Towa with strong Te function while Okayu and Mio have strong Fe function. Basically Towa would rather tell the truth or feel a genuine connection to something in order to agree or comment on something, while Mio and Okayu prioritize boosting and protecting someone's confidence meaning they focus on the person who is asking rather than what is being asked. There is no right and wrong about this but it is just how they approach social interaction in their own way.
I mean... Okayu apparently just makes a weird face and runs for it XD so idk if thats protecting someone's confidence or anything hahahaha
@@snowwolf342Hidden third option 😎
Can't say about Okayu, but in the Mio's case she's probably find this things cute for real.
