Arrma racing pedigree?No.
Team Corally racing pedigree?Yes! 🙃
1 - Arrma typhon or Corally python? Hard choice here....
2 - Absima Stoke 6s or Corally
Radix 6s? (Absima is like arrma and Horizon hobby , i think corally owns Absima not sure though) the Absima stoke 6s looks beautiful. But also the Radix .
What you guy think ? I can only buy one right now. What would you buy first?
Nice session! I'm really looking at this hard. I'll probably get it 2021. Bought 2 corally rcs this year already lol
Same here buddy. Fkn Love them.
About to buy my first Corally, I'm thinking hard about this one
@@jasonbell4670 I wound up getting the xtr roller instead 😂😂😂😂 hoping they give this one the same treatment and I'll buy it as well!!
With all due respect, team corally is just copying Arrma in some places.
There are only so many layouts and shapes-they are going to look similar, i dont believe its really a case of copying. Look at all the top class racing buggies-can you tell the difference between them? I cant. If the body shell is based on a real world vehicle (dementor,notorius-ford cab?) then of course they will look the same. How many F150 lookalikes are there out there? I think its good that Corally are providing an alternative to Arrma. (Dont get me wrong, if i could afford it i would have a Felony and a typhon like a shot!)
No, no copying involved.
you cant reinvente the wheel... every brand is copying other brand
@Maximus Lockhart Exactly-theres only so many shapes a buggy suitable for bashing can take.
I agree. But, Arrma is just copying people too. I wonder if RTR and Ken Block have anything to say about their designs.
In comparison with the HPI Vorza Flux?
Man I really love the look of this buggy!!! Now Idk if I want this or the 6s arrma typhon? Thanks for sharing this video with us😊
Are we just not going to talk about how these are really poor knock offs of Arrmas?
Why is it poor quality as you say?
What?! Team corally has been around for longer then arrma, since... ready....1986 and never been sued and forced to sell to another company and slowly incorporate said companies garbage electronics.. should I go on??
@@stefandwoodham you could, but it doesn't change the fact that all their new releases are blatant knock offs of whats successful at arrma. You can't deny that. Even if arrma hasn't gone the route of traxxas and bringing it to suit, it doesn't mean we don't see it
@@zer02garage83 Of course I can deny it. Both make rc cars of a certain "category" if u will. Naturally, technical specs are no rocket science and always similar, no matter what brand. And if u have eyes, which I hope you have, take a closer look, ignore your fanbyoism and you'll see that they're actually very different in many details.
If you still think it's a knockoff, ask yourself who originally "invented" all the RC buggies and stuff? Yep, Tamiya and Kyosho. So from your point of view, Arrma must be a Tamiya/Kyosho knock off.
Honestly probably the top 3 best rc review channel nowadays. I’d argue best one.
That was awesome! Seriously. I think I love that thing, look n for something different than Traxxas! How much does it cost and how fast does it go on 4s and 6s? Please and thank you. Great video. Go n to subscribe now
Very nice review and test. You put it really through some serious beating and this is what people want to see. Continue the good work
Thank you! I think some critical eyes are on these cars and I wanted to take them to the extreme to show what they are capable of. Now when people drive them as intended, I think they will be happy with the performance.
Always nice to see a company update and improve a product. You definitely tested it 🤣🤣🤣🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀
Second comment from me now I've seen the test. Great and honest test, well done.
And as you said indeed that was some test you put the car through :)
I do like the new tyres, the body looks amazing and now with a separate nose cone.
The centre diff makes a wicked sound.

Either somebody at hh talked to them or they just saw all the people saying arrma rip off and they changed a few things. Which is a good thing
This are a typhon 6s. I don't race and I don't really bash that hard I don't jump nowhere near as far as you was jumping. Amain also has the serpent buggy on sale I forgot the exact model something like xrte. Parts availability in my area is not great on either model. So what would you recommend with the type of driving I'm describing as far as durability goes I'm not worried about all out speed
I'm really liking this buggy! Especially since they've changed the name and body. Not so much an arrma rip off anymore. Also, theirs some things on here that may make it a better buggy over the typhon. For instance, the sway bar saddles are metal. Very nice, team corally😃👊
I LOVE TEAM CORALLY. MY PYTHON KICKS HOLY ASS!
@rcdriver Hi, how has the Radix 6 currently held up for you these days? Would you personally prefer the Radix 6 or the Typhon 6s?
Thanks for that, i am looking at a Team Corally for sometime next year so please please review the V2 Shogun and Kronos! Nearly got one but want to wait for the V2 now so spent some of the money on an LC racing EMB-T, hence having to wait till next year. Gives time for the reviews to come out i suppose.
Keep an eye on the channel is all I can say. 😁
Super, i love team corally ! Great 2021 year for rc with team corally !
I can't Corally have not capitalized on the big price difference between some of Arrma's 6s line, there almost £200 cheaper than the new V5 Arrma's that have been released? A race buggy witout much adjustability? Really lol, just buy a ready to run race buggy like a Losi8 or Kyosho, the only thing that is better the an Arrma is there power system which is moe like a Max8, there is still not enough upgrades for Corally basher line up, this year is all about Losi with the Lazzernut U4, Losi XT truggy and the SBR 2,0, as Arrma's 6s princes have gone up I do not see value for the money as they are heading into quality race kie territory lol.I know what I would buy ? Corrally need thel likes of rich Duperbash or RCDUD81 to show case there basher line up as they need to create HYPE for there products.
Not bad bashing. Seems similar to the Arrma Typhon 6S. Same thing but very good buggy. What the weight comparison to the Typhon 6S?
I wonder if Horizon gave them a call in regards to the similar name and styling. Not saying anyone copied anyone, the python was quite a bit different under the hood, but the similarity of styling and names was no coincidence and I have a feeling HH was not happy. I am happy to see them take the body and naming to something else. Car looks great.
Why don't you do more speed runs that's the only thing that I don't see you do.
Yo man where is that located...... it looks just like the BMX track not far from my house off of route 50..... in Cincinnati by the soccer fields......?
The slo-mo helps see what's going on. The way it's bouncing off of its chassis on the landings which has caused some of those cartwheels, it could use much heavier shock oil for bashing. Cool buggy though!
Nice video I have the radix 6 and the python 6s v2 and I'm really happy with those very good Buggys and I order the arrma felony I think I don't need more for now lol
God I held my breath when you hit the side of that jump lol
I've been watching a few videos on this car and even checked Corally's info and no one gives a measurement of the battery tray. Everyone mentions there is a limit to the size of battery but how is it that no one has actually measured it? Guess I'll have to wait to order batteries until i get the car lol.
corally sucks big time with 1/8 cars. the python really sucks. worst car i've ever driven
What 6S lipo battery should I get? Please help 🆘 xt90 I believe? Charger to?
Team Corally has become pre-Horizon owned Arrma. Designs of modern truggues and buggies are all similar. But I think Team Corally is really taking Arrma's business model and following that playbook.
just a random thought i would love to see a vid or two on the losi mini t brushless or the losi mini b aybe just a thought great vid love the chaneel
I posted a Mini B video yesterday.
Ya sorry saw the video after commenting great video
The new middle differential is a big plus 👍 the python was good, now this new version seems great to me. A lot of little improvements too.
Agreed. It’s actually a good sign they are onto Version 2 of the other cars. It shows that the products have staying power and that the company is listening and improving the platforms for consumers.
Bought one of these yesterday for a nice price. Just unboxed it and it looks amazing!
What would you go with Arrma or Team Corally? The prices are about the same,so what do you think?
Definitely impressed. It really seems like with just a couple of preference changes to it, it would be a great bash buggy. 👍🏻💯 BIG Thank you for sharing the video and info on it. 💯👍🏻
I have to admit, I wasn’t expecting much out of this buggy but consider me impressed after watching this review
Yeah it did pretty well in my eyes. When I had my Typhon 6s, I jumped the crap out of it. I managed to bend the shock towers but not the chassis. I did add a 7075 rear shock tower and chassis braces. So I think that the Typhon 6s is more durable than this rig after the upgrades 🤔
@@joseCalderon1976 I didn't really jump mine and it's got a slight curve down the middle of the chassis.
@@ValFPV Yeah then that's not good at all. Does it have plastic chassis braces? Meh, I would take the V4 Typhon 6s over this any day anyways.
@@joseCalderon1976 I'm actually talking about my Typhon 6s. Sorry for not making that clear. Yes, the corally has plastic chassis braces but so does the typhon.
@@ValFPV Really? Did you change the chassis braces to aluminum ones? I couldn't bend the chassis even after like 15ft jumps into grass.
This looks very impressive👍👍
READY SET👍💯👊
Nice platform, good electronics, I had a great time with it. 😄
@@rcguygarage What is up Guy!
@@ReadySetRC checking out RC DRIVER beating on the corolla just like you👍💯👊

This gotta be the first video of the radix?
It's amazingly beautiful.

So do I get this or 3s typhon
That kit, lipo and a charger are worth more then your real car...lol...j/k
Nice buggy he takes a lot of abuse... That's very impressive!!!
Idk if I want the radix6 or the arrma typhon 6s 🤷🏾♂️
does the wheelbase look short??or Are the tires just bigger than normal buggy tires?
Yes, that is one thing I unfortunately forgot to mention. The wheel and tire O.D. is slightly bigger than a standard 1/8 buggy wheel setup.
@@rcdriver ahh ok. Thinking of getting those for bashing purposes on my 8ight for a little extra ground clearance.
@@rcdriver is correct, the design is more low profile to get larger rims (like the big rims on the real cars). Sure any std 1/8 buggy wheels fits
I BENT MY FRONT SHOCK TOWER ON MY PYTHON TOO. KINDA A WEAK POINT I THINK. STILL CRAZY COOL THO!
Looks great and very fast and quick would it keep up with my Traxxas rustler vxl 🤔
How's the aftermarket support Or Part Support?? I'm Thinking Of Getting It.. I'm A Heavy Basher.. So I'm 100% Sure I'm Going To Break Something..Lol!
Better buy an Arrma.
Excellent vid! Looking forward to reviews of the updated Dementor and Kronos!
Keep up the good work. Love the style of your videos with just the right amount of technical information and bashing.
Hey Greg how did you fit a 6s pack in it? I have a 5000mah 6s pack but it's too big which I find kinda odd. Curious on your thoughts and what you did. Thanks
Get a smaller 6s? A have a shit tun of quad copter 6sis probably to small though
Looks like a arrma car
This looks awesome, I don't think I'll be able to get it. I only buy RC cars that have good parts support at my local hobby store.
My hobby store has a dirt track that I like to play with it. I like being able to just buy a new part from the store and continue driving around the track if my car breaks.
If they deal with hrp they have better part support then most others
I want the typhon 6S v5 already have the typhon 3s love the car
I just wanna know the corally over the typhon?
Im stuck not like i can go test drive em and decide
There is a video i saw, dont wanna post here to give the other channel promo but its an arrma typhon 6s racing against a team corally python on 5s. And the python just left eh arrma in the dust. Im sure this radix would probably do the same. Team corally is the new kid on the block for sure.
If plastic breaks, it needs ALUMINUM to make it stronger and better for it, it's no big deal, but it's upgradeable for the RADDIX6 nice unboxing and duribility test, sometimes, it has to find weakness for this vehicle, I give it grade B- it's not bad, but always needs improvement!😎🧙🧐🎸🎶🤔
Metal bends.
Looks like an arma typhon 6s but i guess thats not a bad thing
"unless your arma"
Nice vid but can you review cheap crawlers plz
I have a good quality, budget friendly mini crawler review coming. Maybe next week.
@@rcdriver thanks
Looks very much like the rc8b3e.
Do they make build kits for bashers?
Oh yeah I definitely want to more of Team Corally Rc's? Are they coming out with any new Rc before Christmas?
Dementor V2 had just been released, go to world.corally.com or corally.com and check it out.
Any chance of getting the 2021 Kronos for a test ?
Looks like a good buggy. Will be fun to see how it compares long term to something like the Typhon. They both are pillow ball but the Typhon looks to have a little more adjustment in regards to the turnbuckles and other suspension linkages.
Version 1 of the Python had adjustable turnbuckles. It would have been nice if they used them here on the Radix and moved to fixed on V2 of the Python. Guess since they don’t get adjusted much on a basher, they just eliminated a potential weak point of a turnbuckle pulling out of a rod end.
Is the battery compartment the same
size as the Python?
Nice. But I'm into the big boys like the xmaxx and Outcast 8s 👍
Overcompensating lol
Is the motor and esc waterproof ? Thanks
redcat is to traxxas as tc is to arrma....yikes...
Looks really good and amazing.👍👍💯💯
Great review and awesome barell roll 13:42! 👍😎👍
Will any of the armma parts fit this?
I just don’t like the controller
Was this out of the box speed ?? That’s fun !!
Fixed links really? No turnbuckles is simply inexcusable if they want to hang with the big names in rc.
So x-maxx? One of the most popular bashers. It's an easy upgrade to swap and parts are available. No more pulled rod ends or bent links, and a good setup out the box.
Of all my basher cars I still got them setup as stock, except for my track cars. I kinda like the idea honestly.
actually the fixed composite links are an upgrade in all there V2 cars. the v1 had metal turnbuckles, they bended to easy in a crash. For the radix and onther 1/8th corally cars ( v1 and v2) there are stronger m5 springsteel turnbuckles available as upgrade parts. so you still have the choice but corally did say the fixed ones are better for bashing.
How much does it cost I want to know
All the info is in the video description
Awesome review Greg!
✌🏼😎👍🏼
I’m definitely gonna get one, either this or the python
Awesome review as usual but you gotta do something about the echo in your studio audio, I know it’s a work in progress but just a FYI
Yup, I’m aware and I can’t stand it. I just spent a ton of money to fix it, but it’s going to take another month before everything is implemented. Stay tuned 😀
@@rcdriver awesome dude!
How old is Arrma V2?.....I mean Team Corally? Lol..... Seriously tho, how long has the company been around?
Longer then Arrma.
The 6s 1/8 is almost exactly one year now. The company itself was founded 1986.
Team Corally, holder of several national, european and world titles in RC, well known to anyone older than 12, has been around for about 35 years.
I’m impressed. Will you be reviewing Python V2?
I have another Corally to review, a V2, but it hasn’t been released yet. 😁
Cool truck. You seem to light up when your bashing.
When an RC car works really well, you’ll be able to hear it in my voice 😃
Wait no adjustable turnbuckles? On a 500$ 6s truck? That's new....Never seen that before. That's a downer
X-maxx :) one of the most popular bashers got plastic links.
@@ThatSwedishGuy Yeah honestly no big deal. Not a costly upgrade. Actually now that I think of it I don't mind it cause you don't need to adjust them or get out of line. I've come around to them lol
@@cwatson42785 that's the idea, car will have a good setup as it is, no offence to some RC users but many don't have a clue how to setup the cars, plus no more bent links or pulled rod ends.
If they're not durable enough a set of lundsford titanium links won't cost that much or the links from the python or the upgraded links available as option.
@@ThatSwedishGuy i completely agree! Yeah sometimes is a pain in the ass getting the turnbuckles set up perfectly. I like the idea of it just being set relatively straight and no need to tinker and adjust. And like you said we are spending so much money on these rc's its not a big deal to order a set. Yeah those Lunsford titanium links are great 👍 I need to get a set for my TR-sc10e. Im liking what I see for sure 😁
@@ThatSwedishGuy Just ordered mine bud! I'm excited! Hey so I know you're not in the states but parts shouldn't be hard to come by in guessing? Thanks
Never said the top speed?
They have two different buggys now?
Yup, nearly the same. Just different styling.
WOw this rc car is so cool
What's the point of jumping it that far/violently?
Fun? Stress relief? Certainly isn't going to impress the ladies....
@@katous omg I know you!
I can’t decide which one 😂 the radix or Kronos 😂
Arrma
Very awesome buggy
It’s cheap looking and feel
lol
What’s the parts support like state side?
Hrp is the distributor and have a very good stock.
Good vid👍
Thanks! Had a good time with this one! 😀
What you think the top speed was?
Box says 70mph* I’d say I was running in the 60’s. I’d like to get it back out to speed test but it’s snowing 😭
@@rcdriver Yeah Greg winter is slowly creeping up on us New Englanders. Yesterday was a eye opener.
I'm really impressed with this buggy. While I believe it lacks the durability of the Typhon it makes up for it with speed, and agility. Definitely more of a durable backyard racer than a true basher.
This thing is a cheap Chinese knock off of an Arrma Typhon yet is costs almost as much. Everything about it screams cheap Chinese fake & it is so apparent that you can even see it in the video. If it was 1/2 the price maybe it may be worth it maybe but then again you would still need a receiver and transmitter so even then it is not.
1. Why no 1/10 version?
2. Why spur and pinion are not protected by closed shell like cover in 1/8 scale?
The gears is simply EU regulations. But it's easy to remove the "lid" and run it open
8th scale i think is a popular racing platform
