I am a sole practitioner of single family residential and newly transitioned my workflow to Revit LT. I want to get very efficient with the software, but I'm already frustrated with the limitations of LT, specifically with not supporting plug-ins. The material grouping issues make it a cumbersome to go back and forth with Lumion. But the price difference between LT and full Revit are so extreme, especially when plug-in support is really all I need. Does anyone think it is worth it to upgrade for this reason alone?

Lumion is a great software BUT if you do not properly place materials in Revit or your software of choice before going to Lumion you will be going back and forth a ton! Lumion for its high-end price point should offer a Material Override option so you do not need to go back and forth between Revit and Lumion to change materials.
For context, Lumion loves to group materials to make workflow easy. This is effective and helps but there are situations where you need to change a room or the face of an object's materials.
Revit lumion sych will solve the problem for you

@@ghazinspace I do like twinmotion as it is free and easier to use and I felt it gives more realistic renders, and it's smother to operate.

Wonderful presentation, thank you. Very pricy software though. The cost of the Revit subscription and the additional cost of this software is enough to strain a small businessman's hopes to succeed.
