For the next update:
1- Enhance section ortho, by adding specific plan and section styles.
2- Add custom size of rendering button, not only 5 fixed ones!
3- Don't forget Crtl+Z and Y for undo and redo.
4- Make vector exports from Lumion to DWG, especially for ortho mode, so we can use them in AutoCAD and PhotoShop.
The orthographic view is a game changer🔥💯

i switched to lumion from 3ds max recently mainly because of speed, i can now render an image for 2-3 minutes as opposed to 2-3 hours a piece using max, and the animation looks better and fast to render too but bear in mind the animation is suitable for architectural purpose only. if you want to animate certain movements or people talking, it's not the right software.
but the quality of final render is FAR away

Why lumion not add ctrl +z(undo) option
It's a live render sofware not easy to quick changes
@@pabloescobar8927 there is an undo button for most tasks, but it would be great if you could use Ctrl+Z instead of hovering over to it every time

Even beginners can see the big differences to Lumion and Render D5. Do you think it's great that you pay a lot of money every year for small changes but the engine stops? When I look at their work I wonder who the beginner is.

Lumion might be the fastest render program but it is not the best. With Twinmotion, Unreal Engine 4 and 5 and Blender free with all the Quixel megascans and materials free, with the mixer. Lumion is no longer worth the price. I've worked on Lumion from Lumion 1 to 9 and now I use Unreal Engine 4 and Twinmotion. If you take the time to learn it. you would be able to render at a level that Lumion will never be able to reach. They where the best for a long time, but not anymore.

It's like a long time ago at Christmas when I only got socks. I have the same feeling with Lumion 11, I expected more. Had high hopes for VR and an improvement on the engine.

When i exported a scene from 3ds max to lumion the objects seems so tiny and I'm not able to locate it. Please help me solve this issue.

I love this programm, but some Hotkeys just have to be added, like ctrl+z and i dont unterstand why Q and E are for vertical movement, this makes no sense to me and it is sad, that you cant even change the keys. Anyways a very nice program!

I don't think Lumion's engine is built around that, though we may get that in the future
Ray Tracing tech is still relatively new, AMD is only now adding it to their GPUs
Try D5 render it's the best in terms of everything except model assets
Check out D5 Render, you’ll see raytracing which you need
Hello. If the benchmark of my laptop is 30%, does this mean that i can achieve a realistic exterior rendering?
It's interesting to note that the preinstalled environmental options don't include hot arid or semi-arid clime such as the ones in the Arab region of the world. which is a large region that covers North Africa and southwest Asia. Neither is the Arabic language included in the language options setting although it's one of the world's most spoken with over 422 million speakers. Maybe it's something for the developers to think about for the near future?

Lumion does not have a foam effect.

will this help get a job doing REVIT I thought REVIT would be good to learn but your saying to learn this instead of REVIT or should I do both?
You're going to need modeling software like Revit (or any of the many others) to create a model, which you can then visualize in Lumion. Also there isn't as much learning involved for Lumion, pretty self explanatory, especially in comparison to a tool like Revit.

I use Lumion, but let's face it... there's w-a-y more that needs to be fixed/improved than the implementation of standard keyboard shortcuts. Lumion is based on a 20-year old game engine that lacks the flexibility to adopt Windows interface standards. It has been obsolete since its emergence.
