I’m the same way. I rarely turn on the tv anymore and just listen to old radio shows. I just turned 40 and feel like I was definitely born in the wrong era. My favorite part of my day is putting in my earbuds and turning on my radio shows while walking the dog. Takes my mind off life.
I have not found any episode of YTJD to be boring.
Listening through these episodes for the 3rd time and Bob Bailey IS Johnny Dollar. I love the episodes with him. This is a great episode.
I did that with the radio Dragnet shows. But I’m happy with Johnny Dollar now 😎

He would have made a great Johnny Dollar on TV in the 1950's
My husband drove truck for 18 years.... they're right on spot.
I really liked this show. It was different and fun.
All I listen to now is old radio shows, johnny doller is right there with gunsmoke and dragnet. Bob Bailey was the best!
i’m with you Ned…. forget 2023 … give me 1957 ? or there abouts any day 😎

Hahaha. I was just shy of nine when this episode aired. Time certainly does fly as the saying goes!
Good old Stacy Harris, a stalwart radio actor if there was one.
Good fun one.
Another good one, 😊
thanks! love it!

This is an odd premise for a show but it works really well.
Seems to be a break in the recording at around 5:00
Jackie has worked at that company since the beginning and doesn't know all the girls who work there by name?
Ha ha Bob Bailey died in Lancaster ( as mentioned )at a Rest Home @ 70yrs old
Wow he didn't live very long did he. Did he smoke?
