These things forces you to register an account, where the app uploads the data that not only includes your battery info, driving statistics but your location information as well. So I say no thanks to such apps, anyone with mulitple cars should have float chargers lying around, plug those on your cars and keep them healthy and charged.

I know you tested this on a lead acid battery, I was wondering if I can install it on a LifePo4 lithium battery to monitor voltage etc, any idea? great review and thanks

This device is a piece of sh#t. My dashcam is hardwired to my car and without using my car, the battery lasts more than 24 hours. After I installed this device, my car battery will just last for 12 hours or less. No, my battery has not degraded because when I removed this device, my battery lasts more than 24 hours again. This junk is more harmful than it's supposed to be helpful as it turned out to cause a parasitic drain.
I no I can't wait to give it a try this poor mason is at his wits with timing on 351 Windsor and have been threw three batteries and four altanter thanks for the info like I said I'll have one tommorow

Don’t put the terminal on the inside of the post clamp, you reduce the clamping force on the post.

Mine failed after 2 years.
bluetooth only works within 33ft, its very hard for the signal to pass threw walls, and that my car is in a garage further then 33ft i cant use this device i wish they had a wifi car battery monitor

My car never reaches 14 V ever... It's a new car, dealer says it's normal.. Actually a normal running voltage for my car is 13.8 V it can go down to 13 V After the vehicles warmed up Most the time it's about 13.2 V.. That's all according to the dealer.

I used it for 3 weeks now. The charge went down from 100 to 48% so far.
That doesn't seem to be unreasonable.
Normally it lasted for about a month in the past before dying completely.

This particular one only connects via Bluetooth, but I'm sure there are something out there with wifi connection as well.

You can literally start car on 11 V It all comes down to how much amperage is left in your battery..Amperage is far more important than the voltage ..
Question: I have 2 EA 6 volt batteries wired in series for 12 volt output on my 5th wheel trailer. Will the BM300 monitor work with this application?

Do you still use it to this day? What's the mileage on this device? I've read reviews on a different device and lots of feedback stating that the app has issues or the device dies. I live in Russia where it gets to -40 degrees celsius. What temperature is this device rated for? Probably only -20?
I used it for about a year. Recently sold that car to my parents, and they are actually driving it daily now, so that device is not needed any more. It worked fine for me overall. My only gripe was - too many notifications. I would receive them a few times a day, instead of just one, even though I set it so.
