We get dressed up in Indian Clothes Our Dream since coming to India is try traditional Indian clothes and do our very own photo shoot. And thanks to our Host, Alif from Le Fort Homestay he, along with his mother and friends Shooby and Rim made our dream come true. We cant thank them enough for such a special day and an experience we will never forget.

You both looked great. My adopted sons birth father is Indian. I went to an Indian tailor and bought a handmade long tunic and trouser set. it was hand beaded as well. It was my best dress outfit for many years. This brought back great memories of his childhood for me. Thanks so much.

I am from Kerala and for many years I am living outside India and now in the UK. I watched your videos, just to understand how India has changed and to see it from a foreigner's viewpoint. I have to appreciate both of you for being a such good guest. Unlike many other tourists from the western countries who only looks for faults, you two are really enjoying the good and the bad sides of what India has to offer. I agree there is a lot to improve in terms of cleanliness, food hygiene, transport, roads and so on. However I am amazed to see that you guys enjoy every aspect of it without complaints (except probably for the selfies which I won't blame you 🙂this seems to be a new culture after the influx of smartphones!). Have a great holiday.

@@Risingworldd with construction comes the destruction of environment a lot has changed in 15 years. i used to see peacocks,firefly,kingfishers,cuckoo,woodpeakers,sparrows,parrots near my house 12-15 years ago.if was fun now can only find pigeons on the roof
Bengali style of wearing saree (red-white colour) is best and famous style like you saw in that advertisement. You can easily learn it from Online UA-cam.

Btw you can also wear Indian traditional outfits like Lehanga or Salwar suit ✨ It's not difficult to wear like Saree.
Saree by the way is orginal and first Indian traditional wear.
It's one and only, rest came up with time.
@@harsh4964 It depends upon the regions or culture of that area of ancient India.
For ex: in Rajasthan or Haryana, Saree was not present..it was mostly lehanga style of that area.
Salwar suit is definitely a new style of traditional Indian cloth.
But you can't say Saree is the only original. There's nothing like original or fake traditional cloth.
Saree is the most difficult one to wear tho, specially for beginners.

Most of the ancient India including Rajasthan, entire sount India, entire north india, Entire ancient east India wore sarees, it's undoubtedly the first and orginal.
All Hindu devis wore sarees, democracy and other religions came later but India is originally a Hindu country.
@@harsh4964 In ancient times, clothes were worn in drapping style because sewing was not present. So it was not saree in present era style...
Just like Dhoti, lungi etc.
If you are a woman and learning how to wear a saree...it is difficult.
I am not saying it cannot be learned.

The hospitality by the home owners was amazing.
You don't come across good people that often in India. People tend to fleece the foreigners if they see them, eg: charging double the MRP at a street vendor or charging double the rate when travelling in taxis or autorickshaws.
But Alif is a true gem.

You should choose the places carefully. You can't expect nice from an overpopulated, overrated place.
India has a lot more places than Delhi, Agra, Mumbai or Jaipur. I don't mean that these places are necessarily bad but that foreigners tend to visit places which even Indians avoid.

you should visit the northeastern parts of india(specially Assam, arunachal, meghalaya, manipur and nagaland). you will find a different india within india. . for references you can check UA-cam videos of "Ride With Frenchy"a french guy recently went to northeastern part of india.
