The thing with the priest touched your head was peacock feather. There is a Bear Temple too aka Chandi Mata Temple in Chhattisgarh. You can visit if you are interested. This was fun.😊
So many monkeys so little time. :) If you're in Rajasthan for longer, a trip to the Thar Desert would be fun. Some desert safari on camel back. That should be some good memories to take back home.

Do you know why a part of this palace is embedded with Mirrors, because the queen at that time wanted to sleep under the open sky and watch stars, but obviously due to security reasons she couldn't do that,so the king ordered to make her room and embed it with Mirrors so whenever they lit the lamp the whole room would shine.. by the way nice video
When you were go to temple the priest binded ribbon and feather put on you head and chanting a mantra it's all types stuff they did and gave a blessing to you

I loved monkey's untill I made friends with a guy from Costa Rica I'm highschool. To quote him " monkey's are assholes they break into your house and destroy everything!" Totally ruined my BJ and the Bear fantasy. Lol
When exploring historical sites it's good to have a guide tell the history behind it....but just make sure to inform them that you do not want to buy any stuff else they will surely take you to some shops to promote their stuff too

Hey guys. We're heading to Jaipur, and are planning to go to the Monkey Temple. Can the Tuk Tuk take you right to the entrance? We've heard there's a huge climb up to it?
There is an entrance that Tuk Tuk can go to but they generally want to go that way because it’s a little bit further. This will eliminate the climb up. We knew this before hand so we insisted our driver bring us to the further entrance. I don’t think he was overly pleased but we were pretty insistent. Hope that helps.
