I remember when people made fun of the corruption mod because a lot of the fanmade content was... lacklustre. To the point that Ninja_Muffin himself joked about it once. But over time I'm glad people realised that the official corruption content (especially songs like Chiller, Roots and Deathmatch) was of actually good quality. And it's nice to finally have the mod itself be released in parts.
Quality will always surpass quantity. I don't care how many corruption mods there are, the most well built and stable, believable, and true to source mods always take center stage.
I never thought that the basic Gf shaped head decoration from Winter Horrorland would made us come to the point where Senpai and Spirit literally dies 😳
Little fact: for those who don't know, corruption is made off of the original base game engine. They'll update it when the week 7 source code comes out.

You can't change "scroll up" to "scroll down" in the settings, which can cause players (like me) to have skill issues that can't play "scroll up". But be that as it may, the mod will still remain the best, with good remixes and songs and an interesting plot, which was only among all the Friday Night Funkin mods!
Fun fact: if you re open the game after beating week 6, you get the option to get a soul bf desktop pet (shimeji), so we will probably get rewards for beating weeks
Shimeji, sounds like a virus(to old boomers) but friendly. No joke you can do stuff with it and its very fun, didnt install a program version yet but ill get some funni shimejis later yes long text REEE
I wonder why the corruption mod does so well with the, "Turning the protag evil" gimmick? It usually turns out as trash with most games and shows. But turning BF evil was actually pretty cool and I don't know why.
i think it's because you see these events unfold on their own, while you quite literally "play" these scenes out, as the villian, while not being able to do anything about it.
Time has passed since they released the corrupt version of week 6. But it makes me happy that they improved it in every way. I liked the new remixes that don't change too much, the death where Boyfriend is deleted from the game, everything. I love it. 🥰

Love the original and added details, the pixelated corrupted Boyfriend looks quite fitting, and of course, the songs are the bangers it always was. I love the expressions used too, it's nostalgic to see a original FNF member back in action. Of course, in the Cloud mod, Senpai was featured too, but to see a whole mod of him is nostalgic to me. Programming, storywriting, songwriting, and animating when put altogether is insanely time consuming, can never be done by one person in order to make a lengthy and worthy game. Roots is honestly the most banger song I've heard in a while it really drives the fighting with all ya got and at the end of the song you can see spirit's face change to his normal one as he finally sees he has lost. He gave it all he had.
when I saw senpai's week update, I thought it was boring because there was almost nothing, it was just new remixes, now I've changed my mind, the menu is AMAZING.

But I suppose maybe they could make a Death Animation where Boyfriend gets shot by Pico in Week 1, I think that ones acceptable. "Not Evil Boyfriend mind you, Just normal Boyfriend"
