- Friday Night Funkin' Update | FULL WeekEnd 1 + Cutscenes for the PC in 2160p Ultra HD. This time we get to play as Pico and we meet up with Nene and Darnell in this new fnf update 2024.

This is my gameplay with perfect sound. The official FNF base game just got updated, but for some reason I see everyone calling it fnf week 8 when it's not that. It's mainly the WeekEnd 1 update with new remixes called Erect/Nightmare, New charting mode, result screen, sound effects, game over animations, a sick looking freeplay, etc. There is also a few new sprites in freeplay and some other places. We get to see Daddy Dearest, Mommy Mearest, Girlfriend and Boyfriend too in a promo cutscene. The FNF animation for the promo was pretty awesome. I'm glad we got to see more of BF and GF here.
I'll mainly focus on playing the new content, Week end 1 and whatever new things we can find. I'll be playing all of the new songs on very hard and nightmare for erect.

I believe that the Erect remixes show the real extent of BF's talent as a singer. When he puts his all in it, he doesn't just repeat his opponent's melody, he improves on it by singing a more complex and faster version of it and he can even go completely freestyle with the melody while still staying in the style of the song.
And when he does that, well there's no contest, he's crushing his opponent's performance in every way. If that's canonically what happens in the game, no wonder Daddy Dearest is angry at Boyfriend for beating him, he got absolutely humiliated by Boyfriend.

I'll admit we got hella spoiled with Mario's Madness
But that's not to discredit all of the QoL improvements made to this update, and the fact that we finally got a Pico week! They addressed so many fan demands with this, and made some fire tracks and remixes!
Yeah everyone has extremely high expectations for this game now because of what the community has done.
I think that the Game delivered on most expectations for the small update it did
Like Mario's Madness obviously still takes the cake but this update centered more on working towards more side content than adding central ones

After watching this video, I can now say that 2 years have NOT been wasted. The team basically made the game all over again with the nightmare mode, plus all of the new animations, oh plus the first weekend. Keep up the great work funkin crew.
idk man, in 2 years they made what mod developers made in some months. Like sure the update is great I guess, but it took way too long, not considering the merchandise and patreon problems, like there is people who still didn't get their shirts, discs, etc.

i can see why they took super long with this. They really wanted to make things look good and they did absolutely amazing new sprites menu more content i know they did good. it makes me so happy that they really decided to finally complete it the wait was so worth it!

If you want the devs to make a perfectly good game, you have to wait and let them take their time with it. You don't just get things right when you want them.
Don't forget this game initially was supposed to be a joke project so now they suddenly decided to take it seriously by actually fixing/optimizing the engine and developing the games style, promoting the game properly (rip rumbleverse) actually worth merchandise and etc...

@@Sanguine_Vampyre Too much time just for life quality changes and visuals, also just a week and some remixes and charting. Still way too much time, i know this things take time but for something like this? not that long even with a small team. But hey they did a really good job with this update.
