the percentage of customers with shopping lists and customers that will randomly buy stuff is 40/60, and the customers that have shopping lists can have anything that matches your level on them, including items you don't have the licences for. the other 60% of customers base their buying on three factors: 1: Their budget, how much random money they are able to spend 2: how many shelves you have in your store and 3: how many individual items are on said shelf I'm not sure the exact chance of purchase, but basically they stop in front of a random shelf, roll a number and divide it by 2, and that is how many items they take. Other factors like price point can change those statistics, depending on the percentage of price difference, its on a spectrum. another tip I learned, XP is earned based on the item count sold, not the price, so if you want quick levels sell cheap items at just under market price.
Good tip on the workbench. Here is one for you. If you have an empty stock box, you can put 8 bulk boxes in it and put it on a stock shelf and your employees can access them and stock the shelfs with them at will.
im doing a card only selling playthrough, i definitely make more money by not stocking cheap cards and only selling the $20+ cards. I noticed they will gravitate to the cheap cards if I have a mix, but if they're all expensive they are more likely to buy them.
This game has me hooked, I like you can have 3 saves as well so you can make 3 different unique stores as well as starting a new store with new knowledge without deleting your first one that you still may wanna keep
This game is insanely addictive and can even be better once they develop it more. So many things could be added. I think it would be cool to add snacks/drinks and maybe an option to where you can randomly trade cards with customers.
Yes drinks and food are very much needed in a game like this. Another idea is to have online shipping. Also, I'm level 40 not 50 yet but give us the option to remove the wall between the rooms.
I am on my 2nd shop now and used what I learned did and didn't work to kind of optimize my store to sell what I want but not going as far as only selling the most profitable items. I decided I will be strictly a card store. So I only sell card specific items and that is it. I only sell cars, card boxes, sleeves, mats, and card cases. I found that when I was selling every single item, I spend 99% of my time only restocking shelves and not even opening my own packs to grow my collection to sell singles. Even having employees didn't help because they just are not fast enough when you have every single item on the shelves and the fast employees cost so much money, that until you reach the absolute late game, you are just running around like a chicken with you head cut off. So my biggest tip for this game is that you don't have to sell every single item to make a lot of profit. Pick things you are actually interested in selling and make you store look the way you want a store you actually would run look. It made the fun 10x immediately for me. Also, don't waste your time and money on the smaller licenses if there is a larger box of the same item available. You never end up buying the 4 pack of card boxes after you get the 8 pack boxes. It is just a waste of a lot of money early game.
What i don’t like about the 4-pack of card boxes compared to the 8-pack is there’s no deals. In the real world when buying in bulk, companies tend to give you a deal. Like if you buy the bigger bulk package, we will knock off 10%.
Nice vid as always! - the workbench tip is really cool! Didn't know you could store things there! - weird how you can't access the Table Top items. They're just additional items you can sell. It's nice to see that they're expanding the items for sale and giving further customizing options to your store. What would be cool and this is hoping they'll do it in the future, is that those actual Table Top games, people can play in your store as a choice along with the TCG Really enjoying TCG simulator. For me it's better than Supermarket Simulator because I'm always working towards something, whether it's getting a new license, expanding. Spending my money on different parts of the store is as INVESTMENT! And it's fun seeing the combination of items people are picking up lol
while opening packs and/or stocking shelves, alt+tab while holding down left click then let go of left click while holding alt still and 'alt+tab' back to game and it auto opens packs or restocks packs for ya. time for opening 8 packs its a good 20 seconds i believe. good for multi-taskers :)

it’s totally rng when a customer will buy something. one day u can make good bank with like a $5k profit. Then the next day u could make $2.5k. I sat there doing NOTHING didnt restock items. I just let items deplete and the customers wont necessarily be picky about it. Again its highly RNG based, so when u get bad reviews or bad sales dont worry too much about it… Also try not to price gouge too much. literally 10% more on basic items that u sell everyday will always sell. i tried 20% but thats when customers start turning heads about it. the only exception to really increase prices are the rare valuable cards that are over $100 -$1000+ worth. I was able to sell a 4.5k card 30% its value.
