I am confused about how much EVIDENCE they have. No proof. Did they look into the family of the murdered boyfriend? Did HE have an Ex? It looks to me people just wanted someone to blame so they wouldn't feel like a killer was loose. Like if this man didn't do the killing, his whole life is now ruined. If he did, he better be guilty and stay in jail. I hope his kids are doing well with family cuz like who are they with?
It’s time consuming but not hard to establish evidence. It took about a month. Originally he said he was in Miami. My guess is the were able to use toll readers to identify his car in route. This allowed a search warrant for phone and credit records. His if his phone pinged on cell towers this further establishes his location. If he used credit cards instead of cash for gas they have more on his location. Surveillance video from the stores allows visual confirmation of him at locations. Finally you make the arrest impound his car and look for dna establishing him at the crime scene. This is all I guess but that’s generally how it would be done.
