- Samsung USB connector Connected Disconnected problem fixed. Android system USB Connector Connected and Disconnected Notification in Samsung Smartphones is Suddenly the phone started displaying two silent notifications “USB connector connected” and “USB connector disconnected” continuously in the notification panel which was preventing the mobile phone from turning off the screen and the screen remained always on. In this video I will show you how to fix USB connector disconnected Samsung problem and removing the unwanted notification.
Why does USB connector disconnected/connected notification keep popping up? Short answer: The USB connector disconnected/connected notification on your devices can pop up for various reasons, such as faulty charger or cable, software issues, or moisture in the charging port. To fix the issue, one can try solutions such as using a new charging cable, updating the device software, cleaning the USB port, disabling USB debugging, or performing a factory reset. Safe mode can also be used to identify and remove any third-party apps causing the issue.

Tried step 2. At first, it didn't work, but after a few mins of having my phone plugged in (then I removed it), it stopped showing!! 🎉 Thank you for the tut, I didn't know how to solve this. 😊 My battery died so quickly because my screen stayed on due to this.

Jesus Christ! It was driving me CRAZY!!! And also, the bluetooth connection was acting up sometimes, disconnected and immediately reconnected again, randomly, not due to long distance from the phone (in my pocket) Don't know if that was actually related to this issue, but it doesn't do that anymore.

Bro, the third step fixed my A42 Galaxy. The problem literally started for no reason about 10 minutes ago. I searched for 1 minute, and solved the problem the next minute! Dammit none of these work for me.
Found out I have to be on the admin account that I'm unable to change or add to, so it's stuck as is unless I reset the device. I tried everything, nothing works, still the same. Thanks for nothing. And all the comments saying it worked, don't know how.

I have done both methods a number of times and worked once for around 20 minutes . Then this notification has returned. On and off on and off. Tried both methods again multiple times and not working at all not still this notification.

My original cable was broken so i bought a new cable but i still used the original adaptor and it started this problem its not always tho it sometimes happens but it heated my phone like crazy. i used different cables but it was same. It was only gone when i restarted my phone Aand the step 2 worked thank you so much !❤

@@roseleyhanselandelouis6499 temporary fix is to reboot phone, i won't like and won't recommend doing factory reset, and it's dumb that i can't just mute usb android system notification.
I have the same problem. It only charges if I restart the phone. Plus the battery goes low within 6-7 hours

Well it started up yet again. I went thru all steps n it didn't work this time errr. If it would just stay on or off instead of switching off n on, it wouldn't be so annoying lol. @@Howtosolveit yeah, it worked only briefly and has since stopped working completely. Step 2 always defaults to "Debugging Only" and simply will not stay on "Charging Phone Only". Only worked once, now does nothing at all! Solve that! Friggin' pointless!

This is true of mine also
Mine did not have it either on the A71, but then you go back and you allow notifications on the prior screen. And once that's up, go back to his step and that option should come up.

I went through all of these steps and it still didn't work, not for long anyways. It's gone back to not working again BUT. I did find a work around that likely, hopefully, will work for all of you if none of these work. I noticed with my headphones plugged in, the power button to turn the screen off function over rides the bug of not turning the screen off. So I took an old AUX cord. I cut the end off so it's just a short stub, plugged it in, and so far it's been working. I can shut the screen off. It still flashes the error on my phone when I'm using it, but it totally overrides the aspect of the bug not allowing the screen to turn off. I hope it continues to work.

I am still unable to transfer files.
So my problem is that when I try to connect a USB stick, otherwise works ok with the charger. I connect the stick to my A12 with no problem, but when I try to connect to my A23, this problem always appears and can't connect, tried these steps but doesn't help. Any idea why it's happening? Thanks

My phone was showing that notification and my samsung charger stopped working. I did the following steps and it stopped showing but my charger stops working,i even tested new samsung chargers but it's not charging. A charger of different brand is working.What seems to be the problem? Anyone knows?
The technique shown in this video won't work for 99.99% of people, and the fact it worked for you is pure fluke. If there was ever going to be a menu section that achieved anything for this issue it would not be in the USB notifications menu tree, but in the display options whereby you would instruct your phone not to wake up when anything is plugged into the USB, however, no such option exists... The overlying issue stems from degradation of the soldering on the USB charge board from even the slightest amount of corrosion across the solder points. The only way to prevent it occurring is to run a voltage over the board by plugging in the USB-C cable, but this is obviously not feasible when you want to leave your house, as such, the only permanant fix is getting a new charge board installed in your phone. The issue is most common in the Samsung A-series, and replacement boards from third party manufacturers will suffer the same fate within just a few months of installation. It is a combination of poor quality control along with planned obsolescence that causes this issue and it is completely and utterly unavoidable for anyone who has the ability to make their Samsung device last more than 36 months.
Does restart delete everything in the phone or not because I'm scared to try.
The problem is that when I change it to charging only.
And come out of it and then go back to it. It switches over to debugging.
I tried every other option. And each of those options stays, the only one is charging.
Which moves back to debugging

If none of these steps work, try taking an AUX cord, plugging it in and see if it will let you shut off the screen. If it works, cut it short to a little stub, and plug that stub back in.

This is driving me INSANE!!!! I followed ALL OF THE STEPS. And it SEEMED to remedy the monotonous notification loop...... but now my phone is behaving in a VERY odd manner. But the question remains : how and why did the looping notification start in the first place? 🤷♂️😖

Reset the USB port settings.
To do this: access Settings / Applications and activate Show system applications. Search for the USB Settings app and in storage, clear cache and data. Restart the phone and check.
I am on android version 13 and can't do anything past the first suggestion. Debug mode won't turn on, so I can't do anything with that, and I have no android system in the menu, just android system intelligence and android setup.

My Phones Samsung f15 i restarted, reset,and many other things still acting up
When i click for phone charging only , once you leave that page and go back onto it it automatically changes itself to debugging. Wont stay on phone charging
Pls update, does it still bugging after a few weeks? Or is it disappeared on its own after you followed the steps?
@@Tayaistressing sometimes if clears after the steps other is doesn't and it can stay on for days and days

Did not work. Only made the notifications worse. My phone also cannot turn off as well, which was the main thing I wanted fixed, did not solve whatsoever.
