I love seeing people pat the horse. I dont usually see anyone pat them or give them a good rub after a race. Omaha Beach ran wonderfully in this one. Glad to see people care and love them like they are more than just athletes and more of like a pet.
Mr. Porter and Mr. Hughes don't need the money. Keep Omaha Beach on the track for 2020; there is always a risk in any race but for the good of the sport it would be exciting to see what he could accomplish. Richard Mandella is the perfect trainer for this horse, Mike Smith fits him like a glove.
Easiest win Mike ever got!! He just had to sit on Omaha Beach!!! What a great race, totally run by the horse. He didn't need urging from the jockey at all!
Bricks and mortar horse of the year love Omaha beach but bricks an mortar has won on dirt and grass travelling all over and stretched in distance etc. And won every race
Shoulve been in the Classic 1 1/4 race. He wouldve beaten Vino Rosso. 1 mile race a little short for him if he got a bad start. And he was always better than Maximum Security.
Grade 1 and never came off bridle ! . MAX AND OMAHA stand out 3 year olds this season . OMAHA will have swansong in pegasus and MAX will go overseas for saudi cup and then possibly dubai good luck to both.

I see it almost every race. I'd like to see it more for horses that gave their best effort but didn't win.

Very sad we will only get one more race to watch out of this amazing horse, probably wins Pegasus easily.
If they can stay healthy Omaha Beach and Maximum Security should have a great rivalry this year.

Omaha Beach was always better than Maximum Security. I believe would've beaten Vino Rosso for the classic. As a 4 year old would've been unbelievable.
