not gonna lie, 2.0 version of MOTHER/MickMick's death (and The Face's death too I guess technically) is a big improvement over the 1.0 version, since in the 1.0 version, I could hardly tell what was going on with MickMick burning, since it didn't really look like them burning, just reaching for Jake

The face(and Pluto) actually survived.
In a post-credits scene you can see a drawing of Mickey with no legs and Pluto.
Since It is canon the drawings of the toons are destroyed when their respective toon dies, this means that face and Pluto are still Alive(somehow).

The fire started from Hourglass' death in the Tunnels likely reached the Cabin, or Jake decided enough was enough and set the cabin aflame. MOTHER canonically dies in the cabin in a weakened and physical state, alongside The Face.
