As soon as I heard "tale of a man and a monster" I was like WHO IS THE MONSTER AND WHO IS THE MAAAAAAAAAN it fits so so well and it genuinely brought a tear to my eye also I adore your follow through of musical themes throughout the series like Make a Man Out of You becomes sskk's theme and Part of Your World becomes Kyouka's in later parts and the carrying over of Trust in Me from part 1- I love it. Additionally in I Won't Say I'm in Love- I adore how Dazai is simultaneously Hercules and Jason of the Argonauts lmao. Also again your timing with your editing is really really well done, and the cutting out of lyrics that don't make sense is really smooth.
THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! I made parts 1-3 simultaneously so I could really plan it out as a multi-part project, and cut up songs accordingly so that they reoccur throughout the parts as character themes. It was one of my favourite things to do, like picking up on the interpretations each lyric could have in this context was so fun! 🥲 I'm so glad you enjoyed this and picked up on these things too!!!
