Lysosomes, Peroxisomes & Secretory Vesicles:
Lysosomes, peroxisomes and secretory vesicles are membrane bound vesicles. Lysosomes are formed by budding off from Golgi apparatus. They contain hydrolase enzymes and degrade damaged cell structures, ingested food particles and unwanted things such as bacteria. Peroxisomes are formed by pinching off from smooth endoplasmic reticulum. They contain oxidase enzymes and are involved in β oxidation of long chain fatty acids and in detoxification of harmful substances. Secretory vesicles are formed from Golgi apparatus They store secretory proteins, and when appropriate signal comes, release their content intracellularly.

Just a little correction: I believe peroxysomes are to be formed by AUTOREPLICATION from a mother peroxysome (just like mitochondria) and then associated proteins are transported from the cytoplasm to the newly formed peroxysome
Correct.. Because Peroxysomes are usually present in procaryotic cells, where there is no endoplasmic reticulam.. But great videos this is ❤❤
Thank you is very good
Agree is very good 👍🏾
sir i am studying class 11 so please share functions of lysosomes
upcoming 2 videos will explain functions of lysosomes. Stay tuned.
