This is a detailed video on our recent visit the Dakshineswar Kali Temple, Kolkata.
Dakshineswar temple is one of the most revered, sacred temples in Kolkata, located on the bank of river Hooghly, dedicated to goddess Kali ( Maa Bhabatarini ). It is one of the largest temples near Kolkata and is also an architectural treasure.
The temple was founded by Rani Rashmoni. There are many interesting & religious stories related to this temple. The temple is recognised and respected worldwide due to the great teachings of Shri Ramkrishna Paramhansa Dev, Maa Sarada Devi and Swami Vivekananda.
Temple Timings: 6 AM - 12:30 PM & 3:30 PM - 8:30 PM ( Except Special Days )
