Henry is amazing - I just love it when he comes on. He oozes charm and character and so knowledgable
12:30 forget about the mace, just look at this beautifully dressed man. Damn he's handsome!
More, please! They are wonderful
I’ve watched all your videos many times, thank you more please🙏🏻
Thank you again for these old episodes of Antiques Roadshow! I hope you have more!
I love the Irish people!!!❤️
Awww, no series 14 6-7-8-9-10.
However do I find out if my guess on the date of the gorgeous cabachon emerald ring was correct.
Plus the are delightful Roadshows.
16:28 that's an incredible comb-over. 😄
Omg to think one person could make such amazing things where are the craftsmen gone
plenty of great craftspeople still exist. Like me! Lol. But people don’t want to pay us for all our hours...
Yes soooooo true they will not pay the price it's such a shame I'm sure you are gifted and wish you well
Playing video games
"Who threw the dart" great line!
31:12 lol somehow I have a feeling that the guy who's been throwing darts at his painting hasn't "read the French textbooks"
The one red head is really Conan O'Brien. Crazy the things he does for a little camera time.
Yes..
Irish silver superb
The mace omgosh 🥰
I don’t think that lady with the table believed him.
So how old was thé ring in thé compétion?🤔
Yes
That's Christmas!
I could tell where that tapestry was made from the PC description of it where they called that brute a "lover" even though the woman in the story was trampled to death. PC is ridiculous.
i think the table was a "marriage" of older top and younger legs look at the colour !!😊
I bet they hate people who keep saying yes yes yes all the way through what they are saying.
Yes I do anyway. Even if they know, they must appreciate the presenter needs to tell the watchers the information.
Americans on the American Roadshow-OMG!!! WOW!!! I can't wait to tell you how much I paid for this and the whole history of me owning it!!!!
Europeans on the UK Roadshow-hmm. yes. yes. hmm. Reluctantly divulges minute pieces of info like pulling teeth.
:DDD
so true!
@di butler. I much prefer the UK version, I love the unassuming quality of the people and their very genteel way. The items are so much more beautiful as well, older and refined. The Americans sure are friendly and such, but I much prefer the reserved British. And the UK expert appraisers seem normal, some of the American appraisers on the road show just don't have the character the British appraisers have. And I'm American 😂!
@@danacaro-herman3530 You're making a lot of generations here.
Well said!!
Appraiser: "How much did you pay?" Owner: "I bought it privately so I wouldn't like to say."
wtf is THAT supposed to mean?
Just because they got on the show, doesn't mean their normal.
@@paulfrancis8836 😂😂😂 so true!!
It means he bought it directly from an individual rather than through a public auction or from a store. If he paid a small amount for it, he probably either wants to spare the seller's feelings or wants to hide how much he ripped him or her off.
28:24...he looks like a long lost Carradine son.
The UK Antiques Roadshow have some beautiful pieces. But by God, such staid and underwhelming responses. You want to shout "wake-up and show a modicum of excitement people"! 🙄
They are BRITISH....
What did you expect 🤗
Yes..
