This is like a vlog episode of the land of the rising fun podcast. We need more of this content on the channel. Btw, the Grand Chateau doesn't seem much better than the rest of the hotel. The lore also gets much weirder. The bath towels all depict the Duchess, but no one knows what she looks like, so they're all different women. The voice on the elevator is the "Grand butler" who, like the Duchess, hasn't ever been seen by anyone (that's really it). It's also really weird how they made a really nice detailed exhibit for the princess dresses, but closed it off to the Grand Chateau. Interestingly, in some concept art shown in the Ikspiari exhibit, the exterior of the Fantasy Chateau looked better and had more roofing. The backside of the Grand Chateau also looked less boxy than what we got. Overall, the hotel needs a lot more work both inside and out if it's to be called a luxury hotel better than the Miracosta. A name change would be nice too.
That's what we were going for! Yea considering the Grand Chateau is extortionate, even that doesn't offer much more. The best thing they have is the view from the rooms, so again Fantasy Springs itself is doing all the heavy lifting. Mistakes were made with this hotel.
There was just some music there but it got copyright striked so I had to remove the audio. I'll do a full review of the hotel soon which will go into much more detail about the restaurant as well as everything else.
I mean, you do have Captain Hook's ship and Skull Rock, so kinda do have something similiar! And maybe in 10 years they'll finally have that Frozen land open!
I couldn’t get a booking for Fantasy Springs Hotel so got 3 nights for Miracosta instead. I’m kinda glad even though I won’t have the special tickets…the Fantasy Springs Hotel just looks so ugly! 😢 Hopefully 15 minute early entry will be good enough.
I’m doing the same thing in a few weeks. We’re basically guaranteed one standby pass and one DPA with the 15 minutes early entry, I’m struggling to decide which one to get though!
You dont need to apologize, having fun is the most important thing. And im so glad you are having so much fun! I cant wait to be able to go there some day im sure it was so awesome. Hope you had a great time😊
This might be a weird comparison, but the hotel's exterior reminds me so much of the Fantasy area of Phantasialand (the side with the weird parrot flatride)
Thanks for the report. Looks like it's what I was afraid of: besides the lounge and rooms the hotel itself is quite ugly from outside. I wonder how this cheap plaster will hold in Tokyo weather. Anyways, we're paying just for a chance to buy that special tickets 🎟
And those special tickets are SO worth it as you’ll see in my next vlog. Honestly I thought maybe I was being too harsh on the hotel then when editing this I looked at footage of the Miracosta and I think I was being too kind! But yeah, being in Fantasy Springs and having the magic passport makes it worth every penny.
It's tricky because the Miracosta is a much nicer hotel, but you'll see in my next vlog that the Magic Passport is absolutely wonderful. I'm doing Miracosta in August so I'll let you know how it goes.
Even in places like Las Vegas, the premium "luxury" hotels are plain, simple, white, glass, and chrome compared to the overly themed and decorated hotels. I prefer a lot of themeing myself.
I really like your humour and commentary and have enjoyed the videos since finding your channel, but can you please try and sort out your camera work and be less rollercoaster movement around the place as it becomes to hard to watch and I was skipping sections.
Thanks friend! I know, I know… I was painfully aware of that whilst editing and did cut a lot of stuff out as there was so much staring at my neck. Definitely need more practice with vlogging! Appreciate the feedback ❤️

The sound cuts out for me in the video when you enter restaurant so if you were giving commentary about the buffet etc i couldn’t hear it.

Fantasy springs looks amazing! I wish we had something similar in Disneyland Paris especially the Frozen and Peter Pan area

@@8bitthemepark I’m hoping to get the frozen and tangled ride with the early entry and if I’m lucky I’ll get Peter Pan later in the day 🤞🤞🤞
@@stasiatheo Sounds like a good plan. I’ve managed to get Peter Pan in the afternoon twice, good luck!
@@8bitthemepark That gives me some confidence! Thank you ❤️
How did you successfully book the hotel room? Any tips pls? 🙏🏼
Just a LOT of refreshing the web page... Actually Alex handled it but he said he probably refreshed thousands of times... Good luck!

how much for a one night stay at this hotel?
Looks like a dream visit I hope I make it to Tokyo Disney Sea someday
Love your pod! Love the Channel! This is amazing! I’ll be there in October with vacation package.
Awh that rocks thank you friend! October is real soon you must be so hyped!!!

ive been saying this!!!
Wuze Town!!! You're so right!

Going in April and concerned about getting a room there or Miracosta so we can at least get Happy Entry. I’m jealous you even got a room😂😂

But it’s not simple and grand and elegant like the Bellagio, it feels cheap too. Worst of both worlds.
In all honesty I’d rather spend the money on the miracosta and get a harbour view.

REALLY bad choice to put that hotel in Fantasy Springs, ugly AF in my opinion, everything else is amazing, can't wait to get there!!
😡😡
Basically this yeah. Miracosta adds so much to Mediterranean Harbor, Fantasy Springs Hotel seems to take away from Fantasy Springs..
