I really enjoyed watching this video. I lived at the house on the corner of Hardwick Rd (the one with the sign on, 46 Girnhill Ln) from aged 3 (1976) for about 12 yrs. I was best friends with the granddaughter of Mrs Larkin who you mention. We played on that street for years, we used to play kirby on the gable end. Our initials are still painted on the gable end of 2 Hardwick Rd! (DM and DR). Lovely memories!!

Hey up Ian.

I'm little tippy from purston.
Brought up in ponte kings school lad.
Got my pass into fev via the immortal razzy Mr Ian Wiles.
Taught pub lessons by legend Tommy smales when called into the kitchen.
Only done 28 years now so still onny got half a ticket.
Family and friends here are awesome.
One more thing.
I went to a Leeds game at Millwall when in navy and on of there lads said to me and I quote.
Fuck me your featherstone your just like us.
Small but mad.
No trouble ensued but I was proud of the rovers.
