⚔️ Despite the fact that the First World War began with the fact that Austria-Hungary declared war on Serbia, the Balkan Front was not the main theater of operations. At the same time, it was the victory of the Entente on the Balkan Front that forced the Ottoman Empire to capitulate.

@@BolnoyBratchny Sure, against the combined forces of Austria-Hungary, German Empire and Bulgaria. It's an embarrassment that 3 much bigger nations had to team up against a small nation to even occupy them (not even annex them). Austria-Hungary took such a massive L against Serbia

Serbia occupied Macedonia from who? From the 500 year's turkish slavery? This is propaganda video, not history. In Macedonia in thet time lived more then 1.2 milion Serbs. Serbia free Macedonia and Serbian and Macedonian orthodox brothers from the islamic Osman turks. Im a Macedonian and i know my history. End.

Last kings before ottoman came were Bulgarians.Also in the WW1 and WW2 Macedonia was liberated for few years.

Macedonia, now known as North Macedonia, was not occupied by the Serbs during the Second Balkan War. It was liberated from the Turks. Macedonia is by many considered to be Old Serbia. In 1346 Skopje, its capital, became the capital of the Serbian Empire.
And Bulgaria 🇧🇬 😉60-70 % for ✝️ in land were Bulgarian

And as the video says, most of the Austro-Hungarian army was in Galicia. Serbia was losing the war of attrition even to the secondary AH forces.
@@fips711 😂 Yeah right. AH attack Serbia only with 60 people. In any case, the AH empire no longer existed after the war with Serbia, and Serbia expanded its territory.
@@fantommorbius5175 Way to get defensive. Even in this video it shows that Serbs had more troops than Habsburgs (which I don't think is true).
Serbia was the biggest loser of WW1, with some 25% of the population dying and yeah, expanding into Bosnia and Croatia worked out so well. Until 1940. And 1991. Worked out awesome!
Even today Serbia is one of the poorest countries in Europe while Austria is amongst the richest.

When the war started, Serbia had 8 big guns, after the first battle, AH upgraded us to 88 big guns. We drove them back to Austria 3 times, AH was a pathetic army and soldiers who had money and weapons and nothing else. Cowards.
@@fips711Austria is full of Bosnians to keep them running. Ćevapčići all over country. And Austria played dead after WWII although their solders, not Germans, were shooting hostages in Serbia in 1941. Not SS but regular Heeren. After WWII poor Germany had to pay reparations for owfull things Austrians have committed.

...fought the same wars since, still fighting to this day. Empires rise, fall, rotate, form new(old) alliances, and all are, still after those small Serb people, not just Serbian ones. Even Turks are back at Kosovo, symbolically. Sent there on purpose by their old allies, that, at some point turned against them, as they do. Like French were one of the last in defending Berlin, until they switched. Had more of them with that painter, then in resistance. While Serbs had both resistance movements, one prompted at the end was a planted egg(thanks to "allies", and Churchill) so the real resistance, Draza's one, could be destroyed. Interestingly, Stalin was against Tito eliminating them all after take over, eventually Tito turned against him, after using him to rebuild. Same way Brits prolonged Ottoman occupation for at least a century. Around we go, centuries after centuries, decades after decades, with all having an eye at stubborn Serbs(same with Rus, and both of their churches). No one pays attention to what seems to be their biggest problem. Like how both Bolshev, and nasties created their own churches, they could control, same is happening again. Or they are trying, like they used to. Failed every time, and will fail again. People went trough a lot over centuries, but would not give up on their faith and shrines. They can and will keep trying.

Balkans who were under Ottoman control for centuries and finally started getting independence after decline of Ottoman, now have there hope of independence come under threat yet again by austro Hungary plans to annex Balkan, which led to revolt and uprising against them.
Not only after decline but the balkan wars which the balkan nations won against the ottomans they were defeated and pushed back to turkey.
Do you think there was ever a chance Serbia could have resisted invasion if the war never spiralled into WW1 with everyone encouraged to join in? It seems like if the war was contained exclusively to Serbia & perhaps with Russia supplying ammunition instead of intervening that Serbia might have a chance at defending - assuming Germany doesn't intervene in a hypothetical local war, which it did in WW1 to unite with the Ottomans.
The murder in Sarajevo is just an excuse. Both the Entente and the Central Powers wanted war. It’s just that there were no such bloody wars before, and everyone thought that it would be, as usual, they would fight a little and quickly win and that’s it.

No chance. The Austro-Hungarian invasion army in a war solely with Serbia would have been twice the size of the Serbian Army. Also they would have brought a vastly superior heavy artillery which would not be borrowed by the Germans and had sufficient stocks and production of shells. Also it is likely that they wouldn't rush their attack from the west across the mountains but attacked from the north or at least from both sides. Serbia would have been overwhelmed.
Montenegro was conquered in 1916 not 1915.
if you look at history realistically ... you see that from the beginning Serbia only defended itself against the occupier who was much stronger ... as it is today ....
Macedonia was bulgarian and still is bulgarian macedonians are ethnick bulgarian there was brutall oppresion and serbianization.
