There should be at least an achievement for killing it. There are many ways of dealing with a woodland mansion. Some people avoid the illagers. While others kill them all, and burn down the mansion out of spite lol. The Warden shouldn’t be any different.

If you kill it it’s dead, no longer a threat in that deep dark area specifically. This might be especially the case if you have a strip mine that goes through there for example. Well, make there be a special item called Skulk remains, which can be crafted into deep dark ingots, however, the warden has a rare chance of dropping the special skulk remains, about the same chance as getting ender pearls from endermen, or blaze rods from blazes. Not to mention that they are completely immune to weapons below netherite tier, making them still a threat, and even if u have netherite, u would still need to find a special gem in the chests before sneaking up on the warden and right clicking him which will turn him angry, but vulnerable. u will still have a long fight seeing as the warden would have 700 hp (much more than the ender dragon may I add) meaning it isn’t just a matter of you killing it with simple netherite, but rather, it’s more of a way to slow down the warden or perhaps deal enough damage to it to blow it up so it can drop 1 skulk remains. You need to craft 4 of these with 4 copper ingots to create Deep Dark ingots, which could then be used to upgrade netherite gear into Deep Dark Gear, which is actually stronger than netherite
So another comment gave me some ideas for what new items/effects/achievements this deep dark place could yield, centering mostly around the warden. So far I have: Warden’s Heart: Equipping it in off-hand or having it in inventory gives extra max health or resistance (thx Jake Yoder, Shirona Sama, auxeria) Volatile Sculk Core : It’s a craftable weapon that can go through blocks, and does the same damage the warden’s shockwave does. Weaponizes the shrieker’s waves and thus requires those, a bow, and an End Crystal to craft. It takes several times longer to charge and release though Warden’s Antennae: Allows for a unique mob/player detection ui, with a unique indicator visually and a slight pulsing x-ray of mobs through a short distance of blocks. Good for mining or just safety in general. It’d be craftable and wearable sort of like the turtle shell helmet but of course using skulk material ‘Dark Ail’: An incurable effect periodically and increasingly placed upon the player when equipped with any/all items listed above, eventually completely blinding them, thus forcing the player to rely on this new equipment for survival, especially the antennae. You can see where I’m going with this :) Using these items for too long basically makes you just like the Warden and a cool easter egg would be that the Warden no longer attacks you but instead sees you as one of its own, and endermen don’t bat an eye even if you can manage to look at them where their eyes should be. Achievement: ‘Living in Darkness’. Self-explanatory! I WISH I COULD MAKE THIS STUFF MAN I JUST WENT CRAZY WITH IDEAS SOMEONE PLEASE MAKE IT
they r lame, they dont want people to kill stuff in minecraft and that is stupid, or they r just too lazy to think and program stuff and hide behind the excuse of "minecraft is not an aggressive game".... dont kill the bees, dont kill the polar bears, dont kill the pandas, dont kill the axolotls, dont kill the warden, dont kill the allay, minecraft should reward all the playstyles.
Warden should drop something like its horns or 2 diamonds at least or even 1 peace of an object u need 10 of to make something and prob its head and should get a trophy for that

But also, it should be from a stronger warden kind of like the elder guardian. It should be found through a portal in the underground cities. This will lead to another fancier underground city with the big warden which is a stronger warden. Also, once you kill it, you get something like the end city but with these things. I think the cities could also have special loot. Another solution though, is that the warden drops a key to one of the chests you can loot. I think this still makes you loot stuff but it also makes a cool trophy for proof you actually killed the warden.

I think it SHOULD drop useful things but have equally impactful drawbacks. I made a comment explaining it you should find it if you wanna see.For an example though think of putting a pumpkin on your head. You’re good to look at endermen but it’s really annoying to see in that thing. Or an invisibility potion, you have to take off all of your armor for mobs to not actually see you. That sort of thing!

Because the Warden is meant to be avoided, I think the Warden should drop a “Silent run” enchantment. This enchantment would be placed on boots and make it to where the Warden does not spawn while worn.

I mean, it takes around a minute to kill, and that’s when, you build up. I actually don’t think it’s too bad, as it’s a big enough waste of time to where people won’t bother
