- I enjoyed creating this new dot mandala heart stone painting. I was asked to paint on something other than a round stone. I had a few of these hearts sitting around waiting for me to paint, so I decided it was time. Enjoy this satisfying art video of this colorful heart dot mandala painting. In this video I talk about my art process when creating this piece. This video is intended for your enjoyment and to learn from my techniques. I have exactly the same struggle with heart shaped stones because I love symmetry so much 🙈
This stone turned out absolutely stunning 😍
You have to make your video slightly over 10 mins so you can eventually get paid for them
Please show us more stuff. And how one gets started doing this kind of creative work.
My advice is get some paint and anything like a cheap pencil or a piece of dowel, sharpen one end and just practice dotting on anything like a piece of paper and play around with the feeling of it, paying attention to paint consistency and how much pressure you apply to the paint etc will all make a big difference as will thicker and thinner paints.
Once you have practiced a bit, it will save so much frustration trying to learn how to dot and dotting a mandala at the same time, practice makes perfect and it takes time to really get a feel for how much to dip the paint etc.
And always remember not to compare your work when just beginning to people who have been doing it for a long time, work on learning from the things you dont like and improve on them with each piece constantly remind yourself you are learning. Then before you know it one day you will be like omg wow my dotwork is incredible.

I LOVE ur art!!! It would be awesome if u could list the which paint & colors ur using. Sometimes trying to match is more difficult than u think, lol. But this is beautiful! I really think ALL ur art is gorgeous!!
I have such a hard time with making even dots. Do you touch the tool to the stone? or "Kiss the surface?"
I had the same problem and the pattern ended up looking kind of fiddly. I really like your pattern and will try it out right away. It simply radiates more calm through the larger swipes😊
