When you use PowerApps write to SharePoint list features, you will essentially be saving the record to the list. Another way of thinking of it is submitting the form or PowerApps submit form to SharePoint list features.
In PowerApps the PowerApps write to SharePoint list features will be invoked once you have entered the essential information on your form or screen. If you are using PowerApps forms then you will need the SubmitForm(formname) function.
To get the maximum benefit from the PowerApps save data to SharePoint list feature, you will need to create your list correctly. If you have added new columns or changed the name of them then you will need to refresh your PowerApps SharePoint data source.
If you do not do this, then errors may occur or your data may not be up to date.
