Yeah, this is kind of messed up for a Church to do this. Just sayin’. Ruins the whole experience of Christmas for me. What in the world is Santa Claus doing in an Church for crying out loud?
This is the kids portion of the show. Its kind of like a hook for a paper to grab the audience’s attention. This part is especially for the little kids in the audience. In Act3 it’s the nativity.
Everything about Christmas, except the real "reason for the season". Celebrating the fact that Jesus Christ was born to give us life an life in abundance. Everything else is just the trappings of the world with all its gaudiness an artificial celebrations...
if i were you i’d look into prestonwood missions! that’s a ministry at this church that does service projects, mission trips and they provide critical food supplies to area food ministries. I think you might also miss the whole point of why they do this show, it’s so that people that come and see it can learn the true meaning of christmas, that Jesus took our sin punishment and that through him we can have eternity in heaven! for example there were over 1,000 confirmed desions for christ after this shows run. that means new christian’s, baptisms and calls to ministry. This show has become a tradition in north Texas and it is amazing! you should come see it this year!
After all, Jesus said, “The poor you will always have with you” (Matthew 26:11). just one time at the year! and we are looking for excuses to not give him what he deserves! a big celebration for our king 👑 and the first reason for Christmas! worthy to waste on it!
