This is such a wonderful overview of this beautiful national park! On our visit, there was no lava flow, and the lava tube was closed. I hope to get back there one day. Beautiful footage of your time there. 😊

Hi, thanks for the video. My wife and I will be staying near here in April 2025. How many roads are still blocked off due to the 2018 eruption and recent activity?
As far as I’m aware, there are no complete road closures right now, but there are some temporary single lane closures, which you can check here: hidot.hawaii.gov/highways/roadwork/hawaii/
