So it is based on the track. C5 is the softest and C1 is the hardest. In the strategy screen before the race it should say whether the track is C1-C3, C2-C4, or C3-C5.

C5: 75-85
C4: 75-95 (85 aim)
C3: 85-95
C2: 85-105 (95 aim)
C1 : 95-115
Inter: 55-75
Wet: 55-65
Nice. But which is the carcass and which is the tyre? I seem to confuse which is which. Which is critical- carcass or tyre ?
Surface is the number that changes rapidly. Carcass is the core and changes more slowly. Carcass/Core is more important.

@@carsonf1 it does before the race but in Practice and Quali it doesn't say which is the Wet or Intermediate.
